He stepped back from me and walked back over to the photographer. I blew out a shaky breath and followed the make-up artist as she waved for me to follow her.

“I’m not sure about this,” I whispered to Julian as I stood in front of him in my robe. I was in a bra and panty set, and though it might have looked amazing on me when I still danced, I sure as hell didn’t look that great now. I was a bit chubby everywhere.

“You’re going to do great, baby,” he soothed as he laced my fingers with his. “You’re fucking beautiful. I’ll never look at you any differently, no matter who the hell is in the room, you got that?”

A small smile tilted my lips as I nodded at him. He tugged me against him as he looked over my head at the photographer. “What do you need from us?”

“I need her robe off first,” the photographer told him.

“Her name is Meghan,” Axel called out, making my cheeks flush. “Maybe call her by her name like a normal human being.”

Julian snickered as he brushed his lips to my head. “The robe has to come off, baby girl,” he quietly told me. “I’m here with you. Just focus on me. Nothing and no one else in this room matters.”

I blew out a harsh breath and nodded my head, allowing him to slip the robe off of my shoulders. His eyes heated with lust as he ran his eyes over me. “Fucking Christ,” he hissed as he ran his hands over me. “Perfect. Goddamn perfect.”

We went through a series of shots, but by the end of it, everyone was actually calling me Meghan instead of ‘she’, ‘her’, etc.

Julian slid my robe back on my shoulders and then led me over to the photographer. “Can we see the shots?” Julian asked him as he wrapped an arm around my waist and tugged me against his side.

The photographer nodded and swung his laptop around to face us. My eyes widened at the picture on the screen. I actually looked beautiful. Julian was standing behind me, his tattooed arms wrapped around my waist, his hands latched onto my hips in a possessive manner. He had been whispering in my ear about what he was going to do to me when he got me back home, but his beautiful blue eyes were locked on the camera. But I knew he was just as turned on as I was in that photo because his eyes were slightly darker—that stormy blue color they always changed to when he wanted me.

My lips were slightly parted, and my eyes were closed, my body leaning back into his. My dark hair was tousled around my head, giving me that sleepy yet sated look.

“Fuck,” Julian murmured, “you look sexy as hell.”

“You two have a hell of a lot of chemistry,” the photographer said. “She would do amazing as a model—"

“No,” Julian growled. His hand tightened on my waist in a possessive manner. “We’re done here. Send copies of each photo to my agent,” he ordered.

With that, Julian led me back over to where Axel was waiting on me. He brushed his lips to my temple. “I’ll meet you guys out at the car.” He pressed a soft kiss to my lips. “You were fucking beautiful, baby girl.”

I smiled at him. He brushed the pad of his thumb over my bottom lip before he moved away, heading toward his own dressing room.

“You were amazing up there, sweet girl,” Axel told me as he led me to the dressing room. “The photographer was right; you and Julian have a beautiful chemistry.”

I blushed. “Thanks, Axel.”

He grinned down at me, his dark eyes twinkling. “Anytime, sweet girl.”

A light knock sounded on the front door. With a sigh, I set down my paint brush and walked out of my painting room. When I opened the door, my face paled a little bit when I saw Vincent standing in front of me. His hands were stuffed in his pockets, and his dark eyes were trained on me, a hint of nervousness in his eyes.

“Hey,” he said quietly. “Can we talk?”

I swallowed thickly but stepped back, nodding at him that he could come in. He stepped into the house, looking around him in amazement. He released a quiet whistle. “Damn, Julian really did hit the jackpot, huh?”

I shrugged because I really didn’t care much about Julian’s money. We were happy. That was all that mattered to me.

“Um, you can just make yourself comfortable,” I told Vincent, not entirely sure how to act or be around him.

“I’m sorry.” Vincent blurted. I tensed. I wasn’t ready for this conversation yet. “I didn’t—fuck, Meg, I expected shit to be bad, but your panic attack threw me off—"
