I led her from the gym and to our room. “You good, baby girl?” I asked her.

She nodded. “I’m just cramping,” she told me with a blush tinting her cheeks again. “I ordered some pain relievers, some feminine products, and a heating pad. I hope that was okay.”

I squeezed her hand. “Baby girl, whatever you need or want, just order it, okay? What’s mine is yours,” I reminded her.

She sighed as she leaned up on her tiptoes to give me a kiss. “Axel is going to start pouting soon,” she reminded me when I tried to deepen it.

I growled. “He’s a cock blocker.”

She laughed. “Julian, I’m pretty sure mother nature is being a cock blocker now.”

I shot her a wink as I stepped back from her. “That’s what they make towels for, babe.”

She scrunched her nose up in disgust. “You’re sick.”

I smirked. “Maybe, baby girl, but that body of yours . . .” I licked my lips as I lightly rubbed my hands together and ran my eyes over her curvy figure. “Fuck, I’m hard,” I grumbled.

She laughed, and the sound was so fucking beautiful that my heart thumped hard at the sound as my chest swelled with love for her. “You did that to yourself, Julian,” she remarked as she stepped out of the room.

Axel stood beside me as we watched Julian get situated in front of a camera. A magazine was doing an interview on him, but they wanted his photoshoot done first so that once they completed the interview, they could go ahead and begin the process of putting it into the magazine’s next release.

The photographer said something to Julian, and he instantly scowled and shook his head. “Not fucking happening,” he loudly snapped at the photographer. He dangerously narrowed his eyes at the person in charge of everything. “I didn’t agree to some random fucking woman being in the shoot.”

My heart squeezed painfully in my chest. Axel grabbed my hand in his and gently squeezed it. “Sweet girl, come out of your head,” he coaxed. “Julian loves you, and he’s fighting this. Remember that. No one is above his goddess.”

I swallowed thickly as I looked over at the beautiful, thin blonde that was standing off to the side in a robe. “Julian, this will draw a lot of attention. It’ll be perfect for your career.”

“You really think I give two fucks about what will be great for my career when you’re trying to shove some random woman that I don’t know nor give two shits about in my fucking arms to do this stupid ass shoot with?” Julian demanded.

“I can do it,” I spoke up, bringing Julian’s eyes to me. They instantly softened, his frustration with the situation wiping off his face almost immediately.

“Baby, you don’t have to,” Julian quickly said. “It’s fine.”

I shook my head as I squeezed my hand tighter around Axel’s. “If they need a woman to do the shoot with you, I will,” I said, tilting my chin up slightly as nervousness ran through my veins. Axel gently squeezed my hand again.

Julian nodded once, and after shooting me a small, proud smile, he looked at the person in charge with an arched eyebrow. “Well, which is it going to be?” he asked.

“She’s a paid model—"

“Don’t give a fuck,” Julian retorted, his frustration growing again. “You want something real and authentic? Fucking put my girlfriend in the shoot with me.”

The woman in charge clenched her jaw but nodded. She looked at the make-up artist. “Get her into a room and get her ready. I need her back out here ASAP,” she ordered.

My heart pounded hard in my chest when I realized that I was going to be alone with strangers that probably hated me. I stepped closer to Axel on instinct, suddenly unsure of my decision. “Axel goes with her,” Julian told the woman in charge as his eyes stayed steady on mine. My shoulders relaxed a bit. “She is never out of his sight,” Julian told her.

“He can’t be in the—"

“Like fuck he can’t,” Julian barked at her. “He goes where she goes. I don’t give a fuck if she’s doing a wardrobe change. Those are my terms.”

He walked away from the photographer and moved over to me. I watched him with wide, nervous eyes as he reached up and cupped my cheeks in his hands, softly kissing me. “You’re perfect,” he softly spoke. A blush tinted my cheeks. “You’re going to look fucking amazing standing next to me. Remember that.”

Axel wrapped an arm around my shoulders. “And I’m right here with you, sweet girl,” he reminded me. “If they want the money that they know Julian is going to bring in, then they’ll do as he says.”

“Okay,” I breathed as my eyes stayed locked with Julian’s blue ones.

He smiled at me before he leaned down and kissed me again. “There’s my goddess. Shine, baby girl.”
