I laughed. “I enjoy it,” I told her honestly. “It means everyone is happy, and that’s more than I could ask for.”
Axel pressed his lips to my neck. “I’m going to go help Julian. Holden is giving him a damn good fight.”
I laughed. “Look at who his father is.”
Axel flexed his arms, making my cheeks flush. “That’s alright. Lana has her own strength, which is why she’s currently outrunning Julian,” he said right as she dashed past the kitchen, Julian hot on her heels. He winked at me. “Julian might be stronger, sweet girl, but I’m faster.”
With that, he dashed out of the room. “Oh, no!” Holden yelled. I laughed. “Lana, run!” Holden shouted. He squealed a moment later. “Daddy A, no! Lana, I’ll save—crap!” he yelled, giggling furiously.
I sat at the kitchen table with Alli as Christian went to join in on the fun “Where’s Taya?” I asked her.
“With Caiden.” She wiggled her eyebrows, and I knew juicy gossip was coming, though Caiden couldn’t give less of a shit who talked about him. “He’s got a very hot boyfriend.”
“Ooh, details,” I gushed. Though Caiden was with Alli, he was bi. Alli was so understanding, and she let him still date men while he was with her. I thought it was very brave of her to share him.
Don’t get me wrong; it had caused some fights between them because she felt that he was cheating himself out of a relationship where he would be the center of it all, but he shut that shit down fast.
For Caiden, she was his beginning and his end.
So, we sat and talked about Caiden and his new boyfriend as the three men rushed around the house, playing with the kids.
