One of the bodyguards groans under his breath, figuring the shit is about to hit the fan.

“Did you just tell the King of Belldonnia to get over himself?” my brother roars.

“I did. And stop talking about yourself in the third person. It makes you seem like a mental patient.”

Lorenzo stares at me for several seconds, and I wonder if I’ve gone too far in my attempt to prove that I will no longer bow down to his wishes. I breathe a sigh of relief when he throws back his head and laughs. “The third-person thing really is too much,” he agrees and walks over to hug me. “It’s good to see you, little brother. I see you’re still a pain in the ass.”

“That won’t ever change.” I smile at him.

“Where is Milly?” He looks around.

“I think she’s passed out on the sofa. This pregnancy is kicking her ass.” I lead him to the living room but stop at the door. Sure enough, my wife is stretched out on the sofa, snoring softly.

“Why don’t you let her rest,” Lorenzo suggests. “I’d like to see your newest video game.”

“Follow me.” I lead him down the hall. The bodyguards attempt to follow, but I turn and stop them. “This house is a goddamn fortress. You two can set up in the guest quarters.” When we designed the house, Lynch suggested building a small guest cottage behind the swimming pool. At first, I didn’t think it was a great idea, but now I’m glad we did it.

“This is my sign to leave.” Giant heads for the front door.

“Stay.” Lorenzo uses his authoritative voice. “You can watch the King of Belldonnia kick his little brother’s ass at video games.”

“You’re doing the third-person shit again,” I grumble. “And there’s no way you’re going to beat me at the game I designed.”

“We’ll see.” He shrugs.

I give Lorenzo a quick tour of the house before leading him to the game room in the very back of the large house. “My wife calls it my man cave.” I shrug and lead the two men into the massive room.

I added four more monitors to end up with ten total. All the monitors are lining the walls around my brand-new U-shaped desk. On the far wall, I have a three-hundred-twenty-five-inch television. There are two large black leather sofas facing the huge screen that takes up one entire wall.

“This is what I call an office.” Lorenzo whistles under his breath. “I need one of those.” He points at the wall-sized television.

“You can watch up to twenty stations at once,” I tell him.

“Goddamn. It’s the ADHD of televisions,” Giant mumbles, causing us all to laugh.

Two hours later, we’re in the middle of a continuous game. My brother is painfully close to beating me, and I’m starting to wonder if he’s somehow gotten his hands on an advanced copy of the new video game.

“You’ve been practicing on this game,” I tell him. We spent our teenage years competing at video games. I know his style well.

“The King of Belldonnia has his ways.” Lorenzo looks over at me and smirks.

“Fucking third person,” I grumble under my breath and move in for the kill. As his soldier dies graphically on the screen, I glance over and smirk back. “You’re good but not as good as me.”

“Fucker.” Lorenzo starts but pauses when the door opens. “Milly.” My brother recovers and stands up to walk across the room. “It’s so good to see you.” He kisses her on each cheek, and I force myself not to kick his ass for daring to touch my woman.

“Hello, King Lorenzo.” Milly smiles. “I’m not sure how to handle this.” My little peach blushes. “Should I curtsy?” She bites her luscious bottom lip and my cock wakes up. Fuck. I don’t need to walk around with a boner in front of my brother and his bodyguards.

“Absolutely not.” Lorenzo smiles down at her. “We’re family, and I don’t require such demonstrations.” I’m a little shocked at how relaxed my brother is acting.

The rest of his visit flies by without any issues. I decide not to tell him about the effects of drinking the Silver Spoon Falls water, hoping the water helps my stuffy, lonely brother find a soulmate of his own before he allows some aristocrat to decide for him. Lorenzo fits right in with my MC brothers and our friends, and I hate to see his brief trip end. By the time he heads back to the airport, I admit to myself that I’m going to miss my pain-in-the-ass older brother.

My wife walks up and wraps her arms around my waist. “That went well.” She smiles up at me.

“I told you everything would be okay.” I kiss her soft cheek.

“And you were right,” she agrees and stands on her tiptoes to kiss my chin.
