“What time do you leave?” She stands in the doorway wearing her bra and panties, with her hair wrapped in a white towel. I’ve had her over and over again and the need to have her again is fucking real. I open my legs, and she walks between them. I put my hands on her hips, leaning in and kissing her stomach.

“I have to be at the airport in an hour.” I look up at her and she bends to kiss my lips. It feels like we’ve been together our whole lives, and in a way we have. She walks me to the door and her kisses leave me wanting so much more. “I’ll call you tonight.” I kiss her on the tip of her nose before I walk out of her apartment.

I rush and get to the airport with ten minutes to spare. I walk up the steps to the plane and spot Cooper sitting by himself. He is on his phone, and when I sit next to him, he looks over at me. “There he is.” He smirks at me.

I ignore the smirk, putting my seat belt on as Dylan and Michael get on the plane at the same time. “Nice of you to join us,” Cooper tells them and they just glare.

“It was Wilson’s turn to get us,” Michael huffs out as Wilson comes onto the plane calm, cool, and collected.

“And was late,” Dylan cuts in, shaking his head.

“It’s not my fault.” Wilson holds up his hands. “Franny, she was, you know.”

“Don’t finish that sentence.” I point at him.

“I’m going to throw up,” Cooper says from beside me. “You know there is such a thing as too much sex.”

My eyebrows pinch together and I shake my head. “There is not,” Dylan says and Michael punches him in the arm.

“That’s my sister,” Michael hisses out.

“Also my wife and mother of my kids, so I think I trump you,” Dylan goads, opening the shade and looking out.

“See what you started?” I mumble to Wilson as he sits in front of us.

The door of the plane closes and no one says anything when we take off. “So what’s going on with you?” Cooper quizzes, and I just look over at him.

“You could maybe try to be a little bit more, I don’t know, smooth in trying to get information.” I laugh, shaking my head.

“What? I spoke with Dad, he said I should talk to you.” I raise my eyebrows. “And then I spoke to Dylan.” He points at Dylan, who has his head back and is sleeping. “He said you were busssh.” He motions to his ears like they are exploding. “Then I spoke to that one.” He points at Michael, who is also sleeping. “And he said you were like booom.” He motions with his hands at my head exploding.

“We’re going to be fine,” I say, trying to convince myself also.

“Oh, there is a we.” He turns to put his back against the wall of the plane.

“There is a we,” I confirm to him. “Definitely a fucking we.” I look down at my hands. “I don’t even know when it happened but it did, and it’s fucking great.” I look at him now. “It’s always been her.”

He smiles at me. “You two have been thick as thieves since forever.” I nod my head. “It was bound to happen.” He doesn’t say anything else to me nor do I to him.

After we check into the hotel, I fall onto the bed, and instead of calling, I FaceTime her. Wondering if it’s going to be weird between us since we took our relationship to the next level.

She picks up after two rings. “Hello,” she greets and the smile that fills my face when I see her on the screen is huge.

“Hi,” I say softly, wishing I was with her. “I miss you. How was your day?”

She takes a deep breath in. “Well, I broke the news to my mother that her daughter is a jailbird.” She laughs and I know it still hurts her.

“Was she okay?” I want to kick myself for not being there.

“She took it a lot better than I thought she would have.” She smiles slyly. “I took Max with me and he was raging at the charges, so she didn’t want to upset him more.”

I throw my head back and I can’t help but laugh. “You are just full of surprises.”

She looks into the phone. “After last night, there is nothing that is a surprise anymore.”

“Well, there could be one more surprise,” I say and she looks at me confused. “We didn’t use protection.”

“Oh, that.” She throws her head back and laughs. “I’m on the pill.” She looks at me. “I’ve never been without one. So I’m clean.”

“Same,” I say and she rolls her eyes.

“You don’t have to say same because I said it,” she huffs. “It’s whatever.”
