I grasp a tight hold of her waist and grind into her as my eyes roll back. I love that she’s grinding back on me. I take this pussy down like it owes me something. How I’ve gone without this in the last few days, I have no clue.

I come over and over and keep pounding. Saga is right with me, begging for more. The love in her eyes as I own her body says she’s my other half. We’re on the same page, like always.

“I love you,” we say in unison as we come together one final time.

CHAPTER 36

Band & Friends

Bishop

After yesterday, I know we need to do something to get our minds off things. I happened to overhear Saga on the phone with Isha, talking about going to the amusement park.

Let me tell you how much I love my wife because I absolutely hate amusement parks. The walking, my height when it comes to the rides. There is such a thing as being too tall for stuff. Then there are the crowds and the fact that I’m Bishop Love.

It’s all a recipe for disaster. I already hate the places, put all those things together and I loathe them, but hearing the excitement in her voice and knowing I’d need to send Dwayne with her anyway, I decided to text the guys and see if they wanted to make a day of it—so here we all are.

“Cheese,” Saga sings as she tosses up a peace sign after Fendi tosses an arm around her shoulders and tugs her into him.

I roll my eyes at him. All the guys have been trying to goad me now that they know Saga’s my wife. It’s not working.

I know Saga has grown to see them all as friends, like big brothers, if nothing else. I couldn’t be happier about that. All the guys had been wary of Bev.

The differences I’ve noticed in hindsight. The red flags were everywhere. I shake my head clear and wrap my arm around Saga’s neck to tug her into my side.

“What’s up first?” I murmur against her temple.

“Where are the bumper cars? Cotton candy and bumper cars are always first.”

Just as she says the words, Dwayne shows up with cotton candy in his hands. Isha needed to find a bathroom. I wasn’t okay with her wondering off on her own since pictures have appeared online of her and Saga together.

People now know who my wife and her best friend are. On one hand, it’s cool because Isha’s social following has increased and she’s been getting calls to book private yoga and Pilates classes.

She’s been seriously thinking of making California her home. I have a friend taking her around to look at potential studios. I’m happy for Saga; her friend will be here with her.

On the other hand, people knowing who Isha is places her in harm’s way. I don’t think either Saga or Isha have grasped this yet. I didn’t want to startle either of them, so Dwayne discreetly offered to follow Isha and grab some cotton candy.

Each of the guys brought along their security teams. They’re all in plain clothes, but they’re around. I take a glance around just to settle my nerves.

Fendi pulls his shades down his nose to look Isha over. He, Thrush, and Bop arrived after Isha went to the restroom.

“Hey, I don’t think we’ve met,” he croons.

“Hi. I’m Isha, Saga’s bestie,” she says.

“Fendi,” he says smoothly and holds his hand out.

“I know who you are. Nice to meet you in person though.”

“Naw, this is all my pleasure.”

Bop bumps him out of the way. “Stay away from this guy. He’s trouble. Bartholomew, but everyone calls me Bop,” he says.

“I did not know that was your real name.” Saga snickers.

“Hey, watch it Moran,” Bop scolds with a teasing smile.

Thrush holds his hand out. “Nice to meet you, Red. This family outing just got more interesting. Dibs,” he croons.

“What? Have you lost your mind?” Fendi says incredulously.

I’m sure wishing he thought to call dibs first. Dwayne hands Saga her cotton candy and then walks off with a frown. I feel bad for him. From our talks, he has a thing for Isha, but he’s still in the middle of a nasty divorce—long story. He’s not going to drag her into the middle of that and he’s not going to ask her to wait around for him either.

Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place. I catch Saga’s gaze on Dwayne and see the questions in her eyes. I sigh and decide to mind my business for now.

The group makes its way to the bumper cars. We all climb into our cars and the fun begins. Both Saga and Isha have smiles on their faces.

This is what I want for my wife and her best friend. With everything going on with Saga, she’s still worried about her friend. This day was more for Isha than Saga as far as my wife is concerned, but I feel they both need it.
