CHAPTER THREE
I was going to lose my mind.
Kieran was relentless with the button. He’d shown some restraint during the blood draw and kept the plug turned off as it was drawn. Without another word, he climbed out of the car. I took a deep breath, feeling a wooziness I hadn’t a few moments before. It was easy for him because he was used to this. It was all new to me, probably more so than he realized, because he didn’t know much of anything about me.
