I bury the growl in my chest, hoping to hide the arousal I feel as pink tinges her cheeks.

“Let’s have a seat and enjoy a cup of coffee,” I tell my men, knowing that it would spook my enemy and give me time to admire my woman. The waitress working with her steals our table, which is fine because I don’t like my queen serving my men. They are there to serve her.

“You should have demanded the other one,” Enrico says, reading me. With these two, I don’t have to hide my sentiments even though they will question me, which I’m not ready for because I need her on board.

“No, it’s better this way.”

“Hmm…” Alessio smirks.

“What’s that, Alessio?” I say, daring the fucker to say something, considering he won’t confess that he wants to breed the maid against any surface he can find.

“Nothing.” We are about to get up when finally Richie makes an appearance and nearly jumps out of his skin. He wasn’t expecting us, and that’s the reason why we came so early.

“May we have a word?” I ask politely, but it’s clear that we have no intention of accepting anything less than a positive response.

“Yes, gentlemen. In my office.” We stand and walk with him to his office. Our conversation is brief.

“Do you have my money, Coleman?” I ask.

He nervously looks around the room like he’s trying to find an escape when the only exit is through the window that Enrico is standing in front of. “It’s not that simple,” he says.

“It’s fairly fucking simple. Yes or no.” I start losing my shit, giving no fucks that we have witnesses just outside the door.

“No, but…”

I grab his face, pinching his cheeks. “Do you think I should kill you right here, right now?” I know it wouldn’t be smart, and it sure as fuck wouldn’t help with getting my woman.

“No.”

“See how easy of an answer that was?” I release his head forcefully, sending it slamming back.

“Come on, boys. We’ll leave Mr. Coleman here to clean up his pants.” We step out of his office and I adjust my suit, looking presentable again. I wink at my woman before walking out the door, and she gasps. Smirking, I know my woman is interested even just the slightest, and that’s all I fucking need.

We exit the building and wait in our vehicle down the road. It’s not long until he sneaks off, trying to get away from me. We put a tracker in his vehicle before we went into the restaurant so we’d know if he tries to run, which is just what happened.

He holes himself up at a cabin out north just a half hour before the Wisconsin border. It doesn’t take us long to find him there. We bust down the door and charge at him. I swing immediately. “I fucking warned you, Coleman. What the fuck did you think running would do for you?”

“Nothing. It’s just…look. I got girls you could have as temporary payment.”

“What the fuck are you talking about?”

“My waitresses.”

“I don’t need anyone to cook for me,” I snarl, thinking he better be offering their cooking services.

“No, I’m saying you can have them on their fucking knees blowing you or to fuck them. Trade-off. I mean, I want May’s ass, but you can get it if you want. It’s nice, just like the other girls.” I fucking lose it. He’s speaking about my queen like that.

My foot comes up, kicking him in the balls, and he collapses to the floor before I let him have it. I start throwing punches left and right, slamming his head into the ground.

“Whoa, Dario, calm down. We still need him to live.” I don’t know who said that because I’m blinded by rage until they pull me off the little bitch.

Finally, I’m able to speak again. “You don’t touch those women. That’s fucking disgusting, you sick fucker.”

“Wow, you fucked up, Coleman. You better have our money by next week or it will be the last thing you do,” Alessio says, staring down at the weak man.

He lets out a groan, and we take that as a yes. I don’t give two fucks that my knuckles are busted or that there’s blood on my suit. All I can think about is that bastard offering up my May as a product for trading, like some goods or service.

I want to go back into the cabin, but Enrico grabs my shoulders, guiding me to the SUV. “Enough, boss.”

“He’s a dead man, and soon. I can’t stand that lousy prick,” I snarl through clenched teeth.

“We know.” We walk off to the vehicle and I get in the back, my eyes unfocused, seeing only the anger until I close them and envision May’s blush as I walked out the door.

Chapter Four

Dario

It’s been nearly a week since I saw my woman. My phone rings, and it’s the tech wizard that I deal with when I want things that are mostly legit. “Sir, I sent you a link to the drive with the reports on all of Coleman’s employees like you asked.”
