He tried his fucking damnedest to ignore the big wet spot on the filthy mattress and a line of cum trickling down her inner thigh.

Fuck, he really needed a new job.

Her dull eyes raked down him from his shaggy hair to his scuffed biker boots. “Just peachy, handsome.”

“You wanna be down here?” He already knew the answer but needed to ask anyway, even if just to pacify himself about the unusual situation.

“If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be down here.”

She only had a slight slur to her words, so he figured she made the conscious decision to be where she was on her own.

“You don’t mind them writing on you like that?”

She frowned. “Them? Aren’t you one of them? That’s what your cut says.”

“Yeah. Never wrote on anyone before, though.”

“You can do whatever you want to me for the right price.”

He wasn’t going to ask because he sure as fuck didn’t want to know the answer.

“You gonna fuck me or not?”

Christ, he wouldn’t even fuck her with Crew’s dick. “Ain’t my type, darlin’.” The type that most likely had at least four loads of other men’s cum in her.

Churning butter wasn’t his thing.

Or catching an STD.

Or gaining a baby momma from a random basement bang.

With a sniffle, she swiped the back of her hand under her runny nose. “You got any coke?”

“No.”

“Know anyone who does? Send them down here. I’m out.”

He muttered, “Will do,” even though that was the last fucking thing he would do. “Hey, you know Sadie?”

Her over-penciled brows knitted tightly together and her eyes narrowed. “Why are you looking for Sadie?”

A little spark of hope flickered in his gut. “Heard she hung out here sometimes. Knew her a few years back and wanted to catch up with her.”

“Haven’t seen her lately. She mighta hooked up with one of the brothers.”

His ears perked. “You know who?”

She shrugged and the flapjacks on her chests slapped against her stomach. “Nah. Ain’t my business.” Her deflated breasts had circles drawn around each one, making them look like targets with her nipples as the bullseye.

The Demons were no better than juvenile cretins. Nobody would convince him otherwise.

“If I give you my number, will you call me if you see her?”

“Just said ain’t my business.”

“And like I said, just want to catch up with her.”

“Then catch her yourself.”

That tiny flicker of hope burned out. However, this woman was the closest he’d come to finding out any info on Sloane’s sister, so he wasn’t going to give up so easily. “When’s the last time you saw her?”

The woman pursed her lips and her eyes rolled up to the ceiling as she considered his question. After a few seconds, she answered, “Not sure. Maybe a few weeks ago. Saw her giving head to a prospect,” her dull eyes lifted to his, “like you.”

“Know his name?”

“T-bag or something like that…” She shook her head. “Not T-bag. Fuck… What was it? T-something.”

Suddenly it hit him who she was talking about. “T-Bone?”

“Yeah. That’s it.”

T-Bone was a prospect out of Uniontown and worked at The Peach Pit, the strip club Mel used to manage. His mugshot was also pinned to the corkboard up on the third floor of The Plant, along with the rest of the key players the task force was investigating.

“Ever see her hangin’ with any other brothers?”

“My guess is, she’s hung out with them all. That bitch will do anything for her next high.”

Decker stared at her. Holy shit. Pot meet kettle.

He picked his jaw off the dirty floor. Unless she had good info, he was wasting time down there. And he was never going to get the stink out of his clothes. He’d need to burn them. “T-Bone supplyin’ her with drugs?”

“You’re asking too many damn questions. Giving me a pig vibe.”

He snorted. “Ain’t no pig. Just lookin’ for an old friend. Tried to hook up with her back in the day. Sounds like she might be more willin’ now.”

“Long as you got some crystal, yeah. For a hit, she’ll fuck your face, your dick, or whatever else you want her to fuck. Seen it.”

Shit. “All right. Gonna keep an eye out for her.”

“You do that,” she muttered. “Sure you don’t want—”

Decker cut her off before he got another offer that turned his stomach. “You want help goin’ back upstairs?”

“Got two legs, don’t I?”

He did not want to look to confirm. Instead, he mumbled, “Yeah.”

He spun on his heels and headed back up the shaky steps. Then went directly up to the second floor to check those rooms next.

All four bedrooms and even the bathroom on the upper level of the old house was full of some sort of sexual activity. He suspected everyone involved was either high or drunk.

If the door was open, he’d stop in front of the room long enough to make sure any female involved wasn’t Sadie and if it wasn’t, that the woman was a willing participant. If the door was closed, he’d open it quietly and peer in.
