“You have a deal.” From what I’ve heard around town, Giant Carmichael is a miracle worker when it comes to finding people. I only hope I have enough information about my girl for him to pull off a miracle.

CHAPTER SIX

owen

Two days later, I’m driving home after a long day at the brewery when I get a call from Giant.

My heart pounds away in my chest as I answer, hoping he’s found something about Radley. “Hello.”

“I’ll take my first hard cider shipment tomorrow.”

I almost hyperventilate as his words sink into my brain. “You found her?” I’ve been slowly going goddamn crazy missing Radley. His words give me hope that I’ll soon have my girl safe in my arms, and this time, I won’t ever let her get away.

“I did.” I almost wreck my truck as relief flows through me. “When can you meet me so we can go over everything I found?”

“I’m on my way home right now. Tell me when and where you want to meet and I’ll be there.”

“I’ll meet you at your house in ten minutes.” The giant asshole hangs up before I can respond.

I pull up in the circular driveway in front of my modern two-story home and turn off my truck, willing time to hurry up and pass already. It’s been two and a half weeks since I lost Radley, and I’m about to crawl out of my goddamn skin.

When I see a big black SUV turn onto my road, I hop out and stand next to my truck. Giant pulls up and parks next to me.

I barely make it inside my house before I turn around and ask, “Did you really find her?”

“I did,” he confirms, and my knees nearly buckle as relief flows through me. “You need to sit down.”

Fucking hell. I don’t like the way he said that.

“No.” I’m not going to wait another second. “Just fucking tell me.”

He pulls out his phone and pulls up a video. I immediately recognize my younger brother, Justice, dancing around on stage. I’m about to question what he’s getting to when Giant zooms in. “Did you know your brother’s band has a female drummer?”

Did I? I search my memory but come up empty. “What does that have to do with Radley.”

Giant rolls his eyes and zooms in ever further. My heart pounds away in my chest as my cock turns to stone when I see what he’s pointing out. It’s my fucking soulmate sitting behind the drums.

“Fucking hell,” I breathe out as the room spins around me.

“That about sums it up.” Giant smirks. “You’d be surprised how few women named Radley there are in the US.”

He follows me into the living room, and I pour us each a whiskey. Fuck hard cider. I need a strong goddamn drink right now. “How did you figure it out?” I down my drink and pour another two fingers.

I can’t believe the woman who stole my goddamn heart happens to be the drummer in my brother’s band. Fucking hell. This definitely complicates things, but I don’t care. Nothing is going to stand in the way of me keeping Radley for life.

“It wasn’t hard at all. If you’d Googled your name and the name Radley, you’d have found her yourself.”

I can’t believe it was that easy. I Googled Radley but never added my name.

“Why was she tied to my name?”

“She was tied to your last name, or more accurately, to The Wild Ones, which comes up in searches because of your connection to Justice.”

“Please tell me she isn’t involved with my brother.” Surely, there’s no way she’d still be a virgin if she was dating my goddamn younger brother.

“From what I could find, Radley Reed has never been connected to any man.”

“Radley Reed?” I know I’ve heard that name somewhere before, but I can’t place where.

“She’s rock royalty,” Giant explains. “Her parents are Amara Ace and DZ Reed from the rock group, D-ZAM. She’s also The Wild Ones’ drummer.”

Holy fucking hell. I run my hand down the back of my neck, realizing how complicated this is getting. “Tell me everything you found out.”

“Okay.” He types on his phone a little bit before starting to read. “Radley Evelyn Reed, age twenty-seven. Only child of Amara Ace and DZ Reed. She’s currently the drummer of The Wild Ones band, which should be familiar to you.” He glances up and gives me a “duh” look before continuing. “She attended Julliard on a full-ride scholarship and refuses to take a penny from her wealthy parents or the trust fund they set up for her. She’s been negotiating with The Silver Spoon Credit Union to finance her dream—a music school here in Silver Spoon Falls. Word on the street is that your girl plans to announce her retirement from the band before the next leg of the tour begins, and then she’s going to move to town and run her school as soon as this tour is over.”
