I bolt up to the second floor and rush to Apartment 225. Then, my fist pounds on the door. “Hello? Ms. Miller?” I call. There’s no answer. I press my ear to the door. To my surprise, there are strange, breathy screams emanating from inside, and some kind of motor whirring too. Holy shit, was Gladys right? Has a terrorist wielding a chainsaw taken up residence right here in Prescott?

But my training takes over. Criminal or no criminal, I’m here to save lives. My pulse spikes as I step back, kick the door open, and storm inside, bracing myself for the worst—only to see an absolutely stunning redheaded girl sprawled across her couch, nude, with no chainsaw in sight. Instead, she’s got a dildo crammed deep in her cunt as the juices flow.

“Whaaaat?” she cries, her eyes opening in horror. “Oh my god, Sam!”

I look from her surprised face, to her gorgeous breasts, to her exposed pussy, and then back up. My jaw drops.

“Jessa?”

Jessa

It’s a nightmare come true. I can’t believe this is happening, and yet it is. Neither of us moves, and frankly, I can barely breathe. My body jolts again as my pussy spasms, and I let out another breathless cry. The handsome man merely stares at me in surprise, and suddenly, the whirring of my dildo is insanely loud in the small room. Oh shit!

My entire body goes red, and finally, I get control of my senses. I thumb the dildo off and pull it out hastily before grabbing the quilt from the back of the couch to cover myself. My thighs snap shut and I shield my assets as best as possible. But of course, it’s too late. Sam Nelson just saw everything.

“W-what are you doing here?” I stammer, squeezing myself into the corner of the couch in shock.

He blinks, visibly shakes off his surprise, and then he turns to the side. “We got a call about someone getting attacked with a chainsaw.”

I blink with confusion. “What? No, I never called anyone.”

He tilts his head and puts his hands in his pockets. Oh no, the handsome man probably thinks I’m insane. Just my luck. I was literally fantasizing about that blond hair and broad shoulders when he came storming in, only to see me diddling myself with a dildo. Oh god, I wish I could die right now.

But Sam shakes his head again and looks up at me, those blue eyes intense.

“Are you sure?” he asks. “The dispatcher got a call, and this is the only place it could have come from. It was traced to your phone number in fact.”

“My phone?” I look around for my cell, and lo and behold, there it is sticking out from between the couch cushions. I quickly pull it free, and see the screen is still lit. My face gets even redder. I must have dialed the emergency line while I was writhing around on the couch.

“Oh shit,” I murmur, cheeks flaming. I put my face in my knees and shake my head. “I am so, so sorry about this. I must have butt-dialed you while I was… ah, well … um. I’m sorry.”

This would be a great time for the Earth to swallow me whole, but Sam just chuckles. The sound of his laugh is deep and rumbles around in his chest. “I’m just glad you’re okay, Jessa.”

I push my curls out of my face and look up at him. The EMT is so much hotter than I remember. His hair has grown out since the last time I saw him; it touches the top of his shoulders where it used to be cut close above his ears. He’s got a bronzed throat, strong arms, and thighs powerful enough to kick down doors, apparently.

But then my eyes slowly go to his face, and to my chagrin, there’s a smirk there. It’s a handsome smirk, but a smirk nonetheless. Oh shit! I didn’t hide the fact that I was checking him out, and it looks like Sam noticed. I swallow hard, still embarrassed, but a bit more at ease now.

I gesture in the air vaguely. “Did my dildo really sound like a chainsaw?”

The question makes him laugh. Not just a chuckle, but an actual laugh that makes his broad shoulders raise and fall.

“It must have because our dispatcher was really worried. For a second there, we thought we had the Texas Chainsaw Massacre on our hands.”

I giggle myself.

“Oh my god, no! I mean, my toy is really powerful, but I wouldn’t have thought it would come off like that.”

It’s weird that we’re talking so easily about what just happened, but then again, this whole situation is surreal. The handsome alpha male I’ve been fantasizing about for ages is actually in my apartment, and we actually get along great! Who would have thought?
