Galen grabbed one of her hands and moved it between her thighs. She knew exactly what she wanted, and she began to stroke her own clit. The pleasure was intense. She couldn’t hold back a whimper as she touched herself, and each stroke going higher and higher, sinking her teeth into her lip as she did so.

“Let me hear those screams. Come on, Skye. I want to know you’re loving this because I love fucking you. I love that I’m the only man who is ever going to know how sweet your cunt is.” He suddenly growled and then she felt his lips on her back. His hands didn’t stay on her hips as he began to explore her body. “Come on, baby, come for me. Let me feel your sweet pussy pulse around my dick.”

Skye didn’t think it was possible, but she should have known by now, that Galen was a man who was used to getting what he wanted. Her body was his to command. She came hard, his name spilling from her lips once again, echoing around the room.

He gripped her hips tightly and began to thrust harder inside her. Savagely. The speed and the angle, she felt so full, but she didn’t want him to stop.

Galen growled her name, and then she felt him thrust deeper inside her, and how tense he got as he suddenly came hard. Wave upon wave of cum flooded her pussy. With the pulsing of his length, Skye felt ripples of her own mini-orgasm as it swept over her.

Skye collapsed to the bed, completely spineless. Galen pulled out of her, but his hands stayed in contact with her body, stroking, soothing.

“We’re safe here,” he said. “Don’t forget that.”

Skye opened her eyes. She’d closed them, relaxed and spent, loving the feel of his arms wrapped around her.

That calm feeling evaporated, and now she was trying not to freak out. She tried not to panic. Counting to ten, she breathed in and out. How long were they safe?

“I can sense you thinking, baby,” he said. “What’s wrong?”

“How long are we going to be safe here? I have this false sense of security.”

“Don’t worry about it. You don’t need to worry about anything. I’ve got it all covered.”

But why should he have to? Nibbling her bottom lip, she stared across the room, trying to figure out a way for this to work out for them both.

“Stop worrying,” he said.

“I don’t want anything to happen to you.”

“Nothing is going to happen to me. I know what I’m doing.”

He pulled her back and Skye looked up at him. She had tried to stop the tears but they filled her eyes, and without her consent began to streak down her cheek.

“Don’t cry.”

“I’m sorry.”

Galen cupped her face.

“Why are you crying?” he asked.

“Because … I love you, and I don’t want anything bad to happen to you. All of this is my mistake, and you shouldn’t be the one to pay for it.”

Galen kissed her. “Stop.” He put a hand to her chest. “Calm down.”

He wasn’t cruel. His voice was soft and she listened to him as he spoke to her soothingly. He stroked her cheek, and then kissed her again.

“I know you’re worried and you’re scared, but there’s no reason to be. Viko is playing a game. It’s what he always does. I’ll know what to do when he finally makes a decision. I’m not keeping you safe from him. I’m keeping you safe from your ex-boss. That’s what I’m doing.”

“You’re lying to me, trying to make me feel better.”

“Is it working?”

“No. I know you’re hiding me from Petrov, but you’re also keeping me safe from your boss, and I don’t want you to get into any trouble. He doesn’t look like the type you want to cross.”

His finger went to her lips. “The only kind of trouble I’ll be in, is the kind I love looking for.”

She didn’t know how he could be so calm when she was struggling not to freak out. There was no way she couldn’t panic. The man she loved had to keep thinking one step ahead of the enemy. How could life be so cruel to her?

She wanted to scream at the unfairness of it all, but instead, she took a deep breath and kissed him back. There would be plenty of time to panic. For now, she had to make the most of what they had together.

“That’s it, relax,” he said in his deep, soothing baritone.

She reached out to circle her arms around his neck, when suddenly, the sound of an alarm rang out through the room.

Chapter Ten

The alarm echoed through the house.

“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me,” Galen cursed. He’d just gotten his woman calmed down and now she was going to have a fit. He remembered how she reacted when the alarm went off at his other place and didn’t want her feeling that way again.
