“I think I know,” Vincent said as he sat down on the other side of me. He leaned over and pressed a kiss to the top of my head. “Axel has been doing his techy thing, and he managed to pinpoint the I.P. address to Connie’s sorority.”
I gaped at Vincent. “What?” I breathed as I stared at him in horror. “She—why would she do that?”
“I should have seen some shit like this coming,” Julian grumbled as he leaned back in his chair and glared at the front of the classroom.
“Why?” I demanded angrily as I glared at him through my tears. “Why would she—anyone, for that matter—do something like this?”
Julian scrubbed his hands down his face before turning to look at me. “Because she has a sick obsession with me.” His jaw clenched before he forced it to relax. “I fucked her at the beginning of the school year. I shouldn’t have because I knew she had that weird obsession, but I did anyway.”
“So, in other words, because you couldn’t be fucked to keep your dick in your pants, now my entire reputation is ruined,” I snapped.
He looked over at me. “Baby—"
“Don’t baby me,” I snarled. “I’m not fucking talking to you.”
“Meghan,” Julian snapped. When I didn’t turn to look at him, he gripped my chin and turned my head back around to face him. “Don’t fucking turn away from me. I didn’t know she would do something like this. I don’t even know how she got her hands on that kind of picture or what sick individual fucking took it. I would never do anything that would put you in harm’s way, baby girl.” My bottom lip trembled. I hated how emotional I was. He softly brushed his thumb over my cheek. “I love you,” he reminded me. My breath shuddered out of me as I resisted the urge to sob. “We’ll figure this out,” he soothed.
I saw Connie step into the lecture hall out of the corner of my eye. Julian tensed next to me as he swung his furious glare over to her. I tried to stop him, but he moved out of my reach before I could and stormed down the steps until he reached her.
“Vincent, stop him,” I begged my best friend.
Vincent shook his head and leaned back in his chair. “Nope,” he said, popping the p as he crossed his arms over his chest. “She fucking deserves whatever the hell he does to her.”
I dropped my face into my hands, feeling extremely tired and worn out. I just wanted to go home, drink some kind of broth, and take a long, overdue nap.
Vincent draped his jacket over my shoulders. “You look tired as fuck, Meg.” He ran his hand over my hair. “Get some sleep, yeah? I’ll let you know if you miss anything important. Don’t worry about Julian. If he said he’s going to take care of this, trust him.”
I looked back at the front of the classroom to see Julian say something to Connie that had her face paling. With a small sigh, I folded my arms on my desk, rested my head on my shoulders, and went to sleep.

I grunted as I dropped onto the couch in the living room, letting my eyes shut. Coach had kicked my ass at practice for leaving the game on Saturday.
But it was worth it.
I listened for any sound of Meghan, but she was probably napping. I knew the baby was already kicking her ass. She got sick anytime she ate meat, and she was so exhausted and tired.
Vincent groaned. I opened my eyes to look up at him. “Damn. I got used to coming into food being made,” he grunted as he dropped into the recliner with a tired sigh.
“She’s not feeling good,” I told him, letting my eyes shut again. If I wasn’t afraid of accidentally waking Meghan by crawling into bed with her, I’d go take a nap.
“I’ve never seen her react to something so strongly,” Vincent muttered. “Julian, I’m afraid she’s reaching her breaking point.”
I shook my head. “She’s upset about the post, Vince, but it’s not what’s making her like this,” I told him. I sighed, gearing myself up for a fight. Vincent was going to fucking kick my ass for this. “I kind of accidentally knocked her up,” I confessed.
“You what?!” Vincent roared as he jumped up from his chair.
I jumped up as well. “Fuck, Vincent, keep your fucking voice down,” I snarled at him. “She doesn’t feel good, and she’s sleeping.”
“Meghan!” he roared, apparently not giving a fuck. But I sure as hell did.
I swung my fist out, clocking him across the face. He stumbled, but quickly righted himself. Then, he swung out at me. I quickly dodged, but he slammed his shoulder into my stomach, sending us both to the floor. “Guys, stop!” Meghan yelled.
