In the meantime, he could deal with Ksar’s bullshit.

Despite the late hour, Seyn knew Ksar would be in his study. While any normal person wouldn’t be working at midnight, Ksar wasn’t a normal person. He tended to return home late and then work from home until the small hours of the morning, the freak. If it were anyone other than Ksar, Seyn would feel sorry for him for having such insane workload, but it was Ksar, so he hoped that one day the asshole would get buried alive under a mountain of paperwork.

The corridors of the Second Royal Palace were eerily quiet at night. The palace seemed strangely abandoned. Seyn knew the Queen and King-Consort lived in another wing, Harry wasn’t interested in leaving his rooms, and Princess Sanyash rarely visited her childhood home these days, but still. The creepy silence in such a grand place made Seyn a little uncomfortable. Perhaps it was the lack of servants. The Second Royal House was one of the few royal families that had abandoned the use of servants in favor of robots. Seyn’s home was nowhere near as quiet and creepy at night.

“Ahem. Do you need directions, Your Highness?” a familiar voice said.

Borg’gorn.

Seyn almost face-palmed. He should have thought of this. This corridor definitely wasn’t off limits to the AI. It might be dark there, but the AI likely had multiple sensors that could detect Seyn’s presence. Considering that Borg’gorn was the main security measure of the palace, of course he had means to detect intruders. Seyn couldn’t believe he’d forgotten that Borg’gorn wasn’t just a glorified butler like the AI at his home: he was the most advanced artificial intelligence on Calluvia. The Second Grand Clan had the best programmers on the planet and their AI was incredibly powerful. Borg’gorn could kill him on the spot with ease if he thought Seyn was a threat.

Probably just like Ksar, for that matter.

“I was visiting Prince Harry,” Seyn said, figuring if he acted like there was nothing wrong about him creeping in the darkness, there was a chance the AI would let it go.

“I see,” Borg’gorn said, his voice so dry it sounded amused. The AI imitated emotions so well it was hard to believe Borg’gorn wasn’t a sentient being. “Are you leaving or do you have another appointment, Your Highness?”

“Actually, yes,” Seyn said in his haughtiest tone. “I want to meet Ksar.”

A pause.

“I do not think the Crown Prince is expecting you, Your Highness.”

Seyn pulled a face. “He isn’t. I won’t take a lot of his precious time. Tell him I’m here and that I won’t leave until I speak to him.”

“Very well.” There was a short silence. “The Crown Prince says he has other matters that require his attention at the moment. I was ordered to show you out.”

Pursing his lips, Seyn strode toward Ksar’s study.

Upon reaching it, he glowered at the locked door. “Tell him to stop being a coward.”

“If I may speak candidly, Your Highness?” the AI said. “The Crown Prince will be more responsive if you appeal to his sense of propriety and duty. You are his betrothed. Perhaps you should simply tell him that you are here to discuss a matter of great urgency that requires his attention instead of trying to insult him, which is a course of action I would not recommend, Your Highness.”

Seyn felt a little bewildered. It wasn’t the first time the AI had been so helpful without being asked. Seyn didn’t understand why, but he wasn’t about to reject the unexpected help. “All right. You can tell him that.”

After a few moments, the door slid open. “You may enter, Your Highness.”

“Thank you, Borg’gorn.”

He slipped inside the study and the door slid shut again.

Seyn leaned against it, his heart beating faster as he stared at the man seated behind the huge desk.

“What is it?” Ksar said impatiently, without bothering to look up from whatever he was working on. “Make it quick. I’m busy.”

The reminder that for Ksar he was something insignificant and bothersome only served to infuriate Seyn further. He would show him.

Beg and crawl, Seyn reminded himself. The thought strengthened his resolve.

He rounded the desk, and, pushing Ksar’s chair away from it, dropped to his knees in front of him.

That got Ksar’s attention.

He stared at Seyn between his thighs, the corners of his mouth turned down and his eyes narrowed. “I thought I made myself clear yesterday. You will gain nothing from doing this.”

Seyn gave him a sassy smile, leaning his cheek against Ksar’s inner thigh. “We shall see.”

Ksar put his hands on the armrests and looked at him impassively, a disdainful twist to his lips. “You’re delusional.”

Leaning forward, Seyn pressed the tip of his tongue against the bulge between Ksar’s legs. “It doesn’t look like that from where I am.” He mouthed the tip of Ksar’s cock through the fabric, looking Ksar in the eye. “I barely touched you, but you’re hard already. All hard and eager for me.”
