He shook his head. “No. You went somewhere else. I could tell.”

Great. So even when I was trying to pretend Kace couldn’t make me come faster than I ever had before, he still somehow saw right through me.

“I just want to get off,” I lied. It was true that I wanted to come, but I also somehow wanted this to last forever. I shifted on the chair, feeling his eyes on me still.

“I want to try something,” Kace said. “Keep your eyes on me, okay?”

I swallowed. “Fine.”

I didn’t know why I liked him telling me what to do so much, but I wasn’t going to analyze it now. I did as he said, watching his plush lips as he leaned down toward my thigh again, this time kissing me instead of nibbling. It was enough to drive me crazy, and I didn’t know if I wished I could close my eyes or if I never wanted to look away again. Kace was like a human radar, perfectly and finely attuned to every shift in my body language. I breathed evenly as he slowly kissed and sucked his way higher up my thigh, my cock bobbing as he reached the base of my shaft.

My skin heated again as his tongue reached the bottom of my cock. He slowly licked a long stripe all the way to my tip, sending a faint shudder all through me. My eyelids fluttered shut for a split second and he paused, waiting for me to open them again.

“Good,” he murmured softly, almost caringly. The moment my eyes were on him again, he resumed, licking along the underside of my cock.

It was indulgent. For Kace, it didn’t seem like this was just one stop along the way to the main event of a blow job. It seemed like he enjoyed every last little moment of this. Getting me to stay in the moment as he put his tongue wherever he pleased. Fucking nibbling at the insides of my thighs, which was as maddening as it was hot.

I let out a deep moan as he wrapped his lips around my tip for the first time, his boyish blue eyes somehow still playful even as he was doing this. He had me right where he wanted me.

“I’m not looking away,” I said, the words coming out with a slight tremble. “So why are you still teasing me?”

I was bluffing my goddamn ass off. I’d said it as a challenge, even though inside I still felt like I was some sort of lost deer in the woods. I had no right to be challenging him—not when he had every bit of control over me. But I’d long since abandoned any hope of having a filter around Kace. I seemed to tell him everything that was on my mind eventually, whether I planned on it or not.

A low chuckle came from Kace’s lips. “Oh, I am going to have way too much fun with you. Come here.”

He stood up quickly, suddenly starting to walk back across the rooftop toward the stairs.

“Wait, what?” I protested, scooting forward on the chair. “Get back here. I was about to come.”

“Come with me,” he just said, not even turning back to look at me before heading back down the stairs.

I groaned as I peeled myself up off of the chair, charging after him. “Keeping up with you is impossible,” I said as I followed him down the stairs.

“I know that chair can get a little bit uncomfortable after a while,” Kace said as we rounded the corner again, reaching the bottom of the stairs. We headed back into his house.

“My ass was starting to ache, but I don’t exactly give a damn when I have your mouth on me.”

“I love when you say things like that.”

He led me down a long hall inside, and then up another set of stairs, this time inside. Kace opened a set of double doors and I paused for a moment, looking around.

We were in a bedroom, to be sure—there was a giant bed along one end of the room. But I swore it looked more like a gorgeous glass atrium than a bedroom. The balcony wrapped around the room just past all of the long windows, and the views of the city and forests much lower were as stunning as they had been up on the roof.

“Jesus,” I said. “Sometimes I forget I’m with a celebrity when I’m with you, and then I have moments like this one.”

Kace walked up next to me, his hands gliding down my back until he squeezed my ass. “It’s just me,” he murmured close to my ear. “You know me.”

I turned to look at him. That young, hotshot face I’d seen so many times online or on TV, long before I’d met him. The light freckles, the dimples, the blue eyes and dark blond hair.
