We kiss for several minutes as I work her body to get her off. We’ve done this part several times, and at this point, I know her body as well as, if not better, than she does. Once she’s orgasmed, screaming my name as her body trembles in pleasure, I lay her in the center of the bed. We’ve talked about it, so I know she’s on birth control, and we’re both clean. I kiss my way along her neck while she strokes my dick. It doesn’t need any help getting hard, but I love the way she touches me and loves to explore my body.

After ensuring she’s wet enough, I push slowly into her tightness. Her face scrunches up in pain, and I kiss her softly, gently, wishing I could take it away. Once I’m all the way in, I stop, giving her a second to breathe. I’ve had sex a couple of times before Kaylee, but none of the girls were virgins, so I looked it up online to be prepared and make it as good as it could be for her.

“I’m good,” she breathes after a few seconds. “I’m okay.”

With our eyes open and locked on each other, I slowly pull out and then push back in. She’s tight and warm and so fucking perfect. I don’t stand a chance at lasting, so before I blow my load, I find her clit and massage the already sensitive nub to get her off again. When she climaxes, her entire body shakes, and her pussy chokes the hell out of my dick, sending me straight over that cliff with her.

As we both take a moment to slow our breathing, I look down at her. Her eyes are slightly glassy, looking sated, her cheeks are flush, and her lips are swollen from our kissing. She’s gorgeous, so goddamn perfect, and I don’t care how young we are because I know she’s the one for me. I’ve felt it from the moment she kissed me that day at the beach, and every day we spend together only strengthens my feelings toward her.

“I love you,” I tell her, pressing my lips to hers. When our mouths connect, it’s as if the entire world disappears, leaving just the two of us in our own little bubble.

“I love you too,” she says when the kiss ends, palming my cheek. “And I totally think we should do that again before we go to dinner.”

While Kaylee rinses off and then gets ready, I find my way out to the back patio. It’s a cool night out, so I light up the outdoor firepit and have a seat in one of the Adirondack chairs, getting lost in my words. Being with Kaylee brings out so many emotions in me that I find myself constantly writing lyrics. Most of them never amount to much, but some end up as songs.

“Whatcha got there?” Kaylee asks, plopping onto my lap.

“A possible song.” I hand her the paper, not caring that every word on it is about her.

“Gray eyes, smile as bright as the sunrise. Her love is better than the best high.” She turns and kisses me gently on the corner of my mouth. “I love when you write about our love. It makes it feel so... concrete. Permanent.”

“It is.” If I have it my way, we’ll be together for the rest of our lives.

“That’s what my mom thought about my dad too,” she says sadly. “Before his accident.”

She never talks about her dad, so I simply nod and wait for her to continue.

“He used to work for Empire,” she resumes. “It’s a marketing and advertising company. Every night when I was little, he would come home and work. I craved his attention, so I would bring my toys into his office and play while he worked. One day, he was struggling with a marketing pitch and asked my opinion. We spent hours working on it together. His pitch went over so well he was promoted, and that night, he brought home dinner and a cake, saying I was his good luck charm.”

Kaylee’s smile turns watery. “Every night after that, he would let me help him. It became our thing. Until his accident. He was stepping onto the street to grab a taxi when he was hit and dragged several yards. They had to perform surgery on his back, and while it was successful, he was left in permanent pain.”

She swallows thickly, and I have a bad feeling where this is going. “They warned him the drugs could be addicting, but he said he had it under control.” She shakes her head. “He didn’t. One minute, he was my dad sitting with me in his office working, and the next, he was an addict, alcoholic stranger who would take his anger and pain out on my mom. It got so bad that he almost beat her to death. Thankfully, she left him.”
