His gaze met mine briefly, and then he looked away sheepishly, as though I’d somehow hurt his feelings.

Young, sexy, gay American tourist…asking me what he needed to blow. He had totally been interested in me, and I’d been so fucking obsessed with him not ruining my fucking day, I’d inadvertently rejected him.

New to being gay, and I was the asshole who’d gone and been such a total fuckwad.

Playing on my mind as much was not only what I’d done to him, but the guilt that had only intensified the longer I maintained silence alongside my family about equal marriage.

I was a bad person, a cruel person.

And in all this confusion, something happened to me. I couldn’t say exactly where the spark came from.

Maybe from the chaos raging through my mind since Hot Ash Ketchum had seen me without my mask on.

Maybe some part of me rioting against my family’s decision against equal marriage.

Maybe I was just that damn tipsy.

Or maybe it was how bad I felt Keeg needed to be kissed.

Regardless of the reason, I turned to the spinning bottle on the table. Leaning down, I snatched it, halting it so the bottleneck faced Keeg.

I turned to him, seeing his eyes meet mine once again.

It seemed like only a moment passed between stopping the bottle and having my lips pressed against his.

They felt like they looked.

So soft and smooth…and so very wet.

My “What the hell am I doing” was lost in the background noise of one of the Sailors asking, “Does your friend not know how spin the bottle works?”

All that faded as I lost myself in the sheer pleasure of the moment.

I’d never kissed a man before, but clearly it was no different than kissing a woman. And Keeg certainly wasn’t resisting. His lips encouraged me right along. My hand gravitated to the back of his head as I slid my tongue into his mouth, greeting his. What I’d intended to be a quick kiss turned into so much more, and the longer it lasted, the closer I pulled him to me, forcing his tight little body against mine before shoving him back to the wall behind the booth his friends sat in.

I slid my free hand greedily over his abs, my thumb moving through that cute happy trail.

Damn, was I going to kiss this kid forever?

Because I sure as hell could have.

What was I doing? And equally importantly, why the hell wasn’t he stopping me?

The darkness from having my eyes sealed shut as I enjoyed Hot Lips’s mouth flashed white. I had been in the public eye long enough to know a flash when I saw one.

As I pulled away, Keeg caught his breath, gasping like he’d forgotten to breathe through the experience. I turned, searching around for a pap, but it was only bar patrons, likely taking pics of themselves.

Again, I was being paranoid.

I still wasn’t sure how long Keeg and I had been practically making out…five…twenty minutes.

But as I turned and caught the surprised expressions on everyone’s faces, particularly Frederick’s, I knew that it wasn’t just in my head that it’d been a really fucking long time.

One of Keeg’s friends, in a Wonder Woman costume, grabbed the bottle and faced the neck toward himself, as though somehow that was magically going to make me kiss him too, which made Indiana Jones laugh before kissing him on the cheek.

As I made eye contact with Frederick, I was sure we were both thinking the same thing.

What the fuck had I done?

And why did I want so much more?

“Okay, good game,” I said, taking a breath. “Now who wants a beer?”

What the holy hell happened?

When I saw that sexy, masked Robin behind me on the dance floor, it seemed by the way he was looking at me that he was pissed about something. Then he asked me to follow him, and I thought it might have been my lucky day, especially as he pushed me back against the wall in the restroom, locking the door to give us a private moment. At my five foot seven and a half, it didn’t take much for this guy to tower over me at what I guessed was maybe just over six feet.

Just when I thought I was going to get a kiss, though, I wound up having the most awkward exchange of my life.

He’d sounded mad as fuck.

He was clearly not on good terms with whoever he’d mistaken me for.

Although, I didn’t quite get how he could have mistaken me for somebody else, considering we were face-to-face, inches apart. We were definitely close enough that I figured if there had been any interest on his end, he would have gone ahead and seized the opportunity.

Then, when he abandoned me in the restroom…damn, that about killed me. I assumed that was the last I’d see of him, but he went over to my friends’ booth.
