“That’s my girl.” I smile as she swallows every last drop, then pops off it, licking her lips like it was a lollipop as she climbs up my body and I grin watching her.

“Um…I take it that we’re done for the day?” Malcolm’s sarcastic voice blast into our love cocoon as Courtney’s eyes widen and she mouths. “Oh shit.”

“Yep, I’ve got everything I need. Have my driver ready for us, will ya, brother?” I say into the microphone, not caring in the least if they heard anything as I reach for Courtney.

“Marshall…” she whispers, and I can’t help but laugh because now she’s being quiet.

“What if they…” She pulls back as I let go to jerk my jeans up.

“What should we do for dinner? I’m feeling like pizza, Mozza.” Swinging open the door, she stares at me and she’s so fucking beautiful with her puffy wet lips from my cock, I don’t even stop myself as I rub my chest ’cause she makes my heart ache.

“Wait. We can’t go out there,” she squeals and grabs my hand.

“Babe, relax. I’m sure Malcolm had enough sense to mute the booth, right, Malcolm?” I say into the air.

“Affirmative,” Malcolm’s voice echoes in.

“See. Let’s go.” Pulling her out, she laughs and buries her face into my chest.

“Get your purse, or that giant bag thing you insist on carrying.” I motion with my head to the couch as she dips to retrieve it.

“Do I look okay?”

And I can’t help myself as I reach for her chin, her eyes blinking up at me as I say, “You take my breath away.”

“Marshall.” She bites her bottom lip, then smiles, as we just stare at each other. Jesus Christ, if I don’t watch myself, I’ll be the one writing love songs.

“So, Mozza?”

“Yes.” She nods her head. “I’m starving.” She reaches into her bag as I sling my arm over her shoulder.

Holding the door open for her as she slathers on some lip gloss, I ask her, “You want me to text Nancy Silverton and see if she’s gonna be in the pizzeria tonight?”

“Are you kidding? You know I’m a fan, I’m obsessed with her breads.” She grins up at me as I nod at a couple of technicians while we wait at the elevator.

“You know what we should do?” She turns to me excitedly as the elevator opens and closes and we start to descend. “We should do like our own show. Like, we invite our favorite chefs over for a night of cooking and eating.”

I smile because how can I not? She’s mesmerizing. The door opens and my hand goes to her lower back as we wait for the SUV to pick us up.

“Maybe we just drink with them?” I laugh as she shakes her head and smiles.

“Come on, I’m being serious. We can be on the Food Network…you cook and I schmooze.”

Nodding as I look over at the paparazzi trying to hide as they photograph us while we wait. “If you want to do it, I love it. You’re place or mine?” I grin as the SUV pulls up and I hear, “Ammo, Courtney…are you guys engaged?” I smile and wave as I open the door for Courtney. You know I’ve got it bad when the tabloids and the fucking papz aren’t even bothering me.

“We’re off to get dinner. Have a good one.” I get in the back, shutting the door on their questions.

“Where to?” Ben asks as he pulls out and I look over at Courtney our eyes lock as we both smile.

“Mozza.”

COURTNEY

“Courtney?” My eyes blink open and closed again, then groan.

“Come on, darlin’, wake up, I need to talk to you.”

Forcing myself to open my eyes, I look at him and say, “Why are you up? What time is it?” Finally sitting up on my elbows as he grins down at me.

“Give me a kiss, I’ll be back later.”

“Wait. What’s happening?” Forcing my brain to work seems impossible since we had a lot of wine last night.

“Come here, baby.” Ammo reaches for me, and I easily snuggle into his arms, wrapping my own arms around his neck.

Have I ever been happier? More secure?

Marshall makes me a better me, even my anxiety has taken a back seat. Maybe all I needed was his love? And he loves me, and even though I still haven’t actually told him that I feel the same way, he has to know it, right?

Today. I’ll tell him today, it’s time. The album is done, I basically live with him, I need him to know how I feel so there’s nothing standing between us that’s left unsaid.

But first I need to wake up.

“Don’t go.” Rubbing my breasts up and down on his chest as he growls and reaches up to detangle my hands.

“Be good. I won’t be long.” His eyes caress my face as he brushes my hair off my bare shoulder.
