She slid her hands to his shoulders, her fingertips digging into his tight muscles as he eased out and thrust back in. When he did it again, she whimpered. Nothing had ever felt this good in her life. She’d never experienced this kind of connection with another human being. It was heaven. And she hoped she would be granted this experience ten hundred thousand billion times in the future.

Chapter Eleven

Garrett watched her face as she fell apart in his arms, humbled by how she responded to him, giving him everything he’d ever dreamed of and then some.

When her breath hitched right before she came, he gritted his teeth. He wanted to watch her come before he let himself follow. It was hard to hold back. His cock was about to explode. But he managed, not letting his own release consume him until she was sated and melting under him.

He groaned as he followed her over the edge, dropping his forehead to hers as the pulses of his orgasm sealed her to him forever. He hadn’t been kidding earlier. If she changed her mind about being his forever Little girl now, he would be devastated.

“So precious,” he whispered before he kissed her.

He didn’t want to let her go, so he held her for a while before finally forcing himself to ease out of her and drop to one hip alongside her. He needed to go clean up and bring back a washcloth for her, too, but he didn’t want this moment to end.

She smiled at him and cupped his face, her voice coming in a low, gravelly whisper. “I didn’t know sex could be like that.”

“Like what, Rainbow?” he questioned, unable to keep from grinning.

“So…special,” she murmured.

He kissed her again. “It was special. I didn’t know either, Little girl.”

Her eyes widened. “You didn’t?”

He shook his head. “Nope. I’ve never had a connection this strong with anyone.” He hugged her closer to his side. “I want to pack up all your things and move you into my house. I want all our evenings to be spent like this. I want to take care of you in every way and never let you go.”

She shuddered in his arms. He knew he was taking things at warp speed, but he also wanted to be sure she was aware of how serious he was.

“It’s so soon, Daddy.”

He kissed her again. “I know, Rainbow. And I won’t rush you.” He reluctantly let her go. “Be right back. Don’t move.”

He padded to the attached bathroom, disposed of the condom, cleaned up, and returned to her with a warm washcloth.

She blushed adorably as he spread her legs and wiped between them. When he was finished, he grabbed a diaper from the shelf under his bedside table and slid it under her cute bottom.

“You have diapers in the bedroom, Daddy?”

“Yep. Got to be able to get my girl covered back up and ready for bed.” He shrugged into his jeans, lifted her into his arms, and carried her from the room. Part of him hated to put her to bed so soon, but she needed a new improved routine starting now.

He would prolong their time together with a story, but then it would be lights out for Ellie. “Would you like me to read you another chapter in our book?” he asked as he settled on the rocking chair, cradling her against him.

Her face lit up. “Yes, Daddy.”

He grabbed a soft blanket from the arm of the chair and wrapped it around her, tucking her in snuggly against his chest before he started to read.

After a few minutes, his phone vibrated in his back pocket. He ignored it and kept reading. This was his special time with Ellie. He didn’t want any interruptions during her bedtime routine.

When her eyes grew heavy and she yawned, he glanced at the clock to see it was already seven-thirty.

He closed the book and set it aside. “Time for bed, Little girl.”

She frowned. “It’s so early, Daddy. I don’t need to get up early tomorrow. Can’t we start my bedtime in a few more days?”

He shook his head. “Nope. You need to start a new routine now. Otherwise, you’ll be exhausted when the shop opens. I’m setting an alarm for three-thirty. I’ll get you up and we’ll go through the motions of your regular work schedule to help you acclimate.”

She snuggled into him, wrapping her arms around his neck. “But I like sitting in your lap, Daddy.”

“And I love having you in my lap, Rainbow.” He patted her diaper-covered bottom. “I bet you were planning to work on more of your amazing cupcake creations tomorrow, weren’t you?”

“Yes, but not until later in the day.”

“Well, instead, you’re going to start at four.” He bopped her cute nose with his finger, loving the way she scrunched up her face and groaned.
