“That was amazing,” Dev said, sounding raw and shaken, as if the pieces of him had been rearranged.

Ewan felt a powerful urge to kiss him, to hold him. But would Dev want it now that the sex part of the evening was over? Ewan wasn’t ready for their connection to end, so he stood up and took Dev’s hand. “Come here. My knees are sore from the floor.”

Dev went willingly, allowing Ewan to pull him down onto the bed.

CHAPTER TEN

Dev lay on his back, still feeling slightly dazed as Ewan settled beside him and pulled the duvet up. Dev tensed as Ewan moved closer, unsure of what was expected of him. “What are we doing now?”

“What does it look like?” Ewan put his arm across Dev’s chest and kissed his cheek.

It was intimate but not sexual, and Dev was confused because that was more than he’d expected to get from Ewan. He wasn’t complaining. It was good to be close to Ewan, but unnerving too. Ewan made Dev feel things he hadn’t anticipated when they agreed to the arrangement, which was supposed to be just about sex, about Dev getting experience. Once they were done, Ewan would go back to hooking up with other guys and Dev would be ready to do the same.

That was what he’d wanted, wasn’t it? To get some experience so he’d be confident enough to date guys and to eventually find a boyfriend.

Only, with Ewan lying beside him, stroking Dev’s chest, his breath warm on Dev’s cheek, maybe Dev had already found what he wanted.

But Ewan wasn’t looking for a relationship; he’d made that clear at the start.

“How come you don’t have a boyfriend?” Dev’s heart thumped as he asked the question. “Not that it’s any of my business, but I was wondering.”

“Me and my ex ended things when I came to uni. We didn’t want a long-distance relationship. And I was ready to play the field anyway. I didn’t get much chance to do that before, living at home with my parents. It’s been fun being young, free, and single.”

Dev’s heart twisted in a way that was new to him. “Oh. Yeah. I guess it would be. I suppose I’ll find out soon.”

“Yeah. Once you’re ready to graduate from the Ewan Campbell School of Sex.”

Ewan’s voice was light, but he turned away to lie on his back beside Dev so they were no longer touching, and Dev missed the warmth of his skin. Did Ewan mean it as a joke? Dev wasn’t sure because Ewan hadn’t sounded very amused.

Something had soured between them, and Dev didn’t know what he’d done wrong. Wanting to fix things, he rolled onto his side and reached tentatively for Ewan. He stroked Ewan’s chest in silence, enjoying the soft hair and the delicious sensation of Ewan’s nipples tightening under his fingertips.

Ewan didn’t respond at first, but he didn’t try to stop him. Feeling bolder, Dev propped himself up on an elbow and kissed Ewan’s shoulder, then his neck, then his jaw.

Ewan turned his face to meet Dev and they found each other’s mouths. Heat built between them again, slower this time, but inevitable. It was so much easier when they let their bodies do the talking. There was no misunderstanding when it came to this simple, physical desire. Dev might still lack confidence, but when he gave himself up to it, his body knew what to do even when intellect failed him. He pushed all thoughts away and let instinct take over.

Ewan moaned into Dev’s mouth and put strong arms around him. Dev shifted so he was on top of Ewan, kneeling astride him, their bodies aligned from groin to chest. They kissed. Messy, desperate kisses and Ewan was hard again—just like Dev.

“Yeah,” Ewan gasped, half into Dev’s mouth. He put his hands on Dev’s arse and encouraged the small movements he was already making. “Harder.”

Dev broke the kiss so he could focus. He propped himself up on his elbows and thrust against Ewan, their cocks sliding together, their sweat and precome easing the way. It was all heat and desire, touch and the scent of sex, even the sounds they made sent Dev closer to the edge. Their ragged breathing and the rhythmic creak of the bed made it sound as if they were fucking. Dev fleetingly wondered whether Dani was in her room, and if she was, whether she could hear them, but then Ewan reached between them and took both their cocks in his hand, squeezing and stroking, and Dev stopped caring about anything other than the overwhelming need to come.

Ewan beat him to it, shooting hot and wet. His come slicked the way for Dev, like lube, only warmer and dirtier—in a good way.

Ewan carried on stroking, his hand slippery as Dev fucked into his fist. “Come on,” Ewan muttered, “So fucking sexy, I want you to come all over me.”
