Ian didn’t react for a moment, leaving me to wonder if I’d offended him, but he finally gave a dry chuckle. “I probably can’t complain because it’s not like I went out of my way to make him notice me.”

As the light changed, his head rolled against the seat and he gave me a grin. “I thought he was just a cute straight guy.”

Laughing, I nodded. “I think everyone did.”

But that was definitely going to change once everyone realized we were seeing each other. A straight guy didn’t date two other men…well, most of the time they didn’t, but I was pretty sure Eli could tell me about some friends he knew that were doing it for one reason or another.

He knew more curious people than I did.

“You’re…” Ian’s voice trailed off, and he took a breath before trying again. “You’re fine with everything that’s happened so far? Right?”

It took me a moment to realize he wasn’t just talking about the dessert flirting. “You mean when Cohen kissed you? Or when he was using dessert euphemisms to talk about making you orgasm?”

That brought the blush back in full force.

“Yes.” His shy tone was at odds with his cute blush and the way he was squirming, but I took the question seriously instead of teasing him again.

“This is what I want, cutie.” Now it was my turn to take a deep breath. “I’m not trying to pressure either of you, but honestly, I liked how it felt to have both of you with me at dinner and I liked seeing him hold you.”

It felt right.

I wasn’t going to sugarcoat all the potential issues we might run into, but I wasn’t going to go searching for problems either.

“I promise I will tell you if something bothers me, but as long as you two don’t run off into the night without me, I can’t see anything reasonable upsetting me.” I had to smile as Ian chuckled.

“Anything reasonable, huh?” That seemed to have his mind going in some curious directions because he shook his head. “I don’t even know what to say to that in this context.”

Bullshit.

But I wasn’t going to push him to talk about it just yet.

I’d save my pushiness for things that mattered, like snuggles while we watched a movie and kisses later.

“But I want to get a few things very clear, though, cutie.” Giving his hand a quick squeeze as he studied me curiously, I shifted my arm as I released him so I was resting my hand on the back of his neck again.

All it took was a single light squeeze to have him melting into the seat as a needy shiver raced through him again. “I will not be jealous if you two kiss again or if watching a movie becomes a more hands-on activity.”

His face gave a valiant attempt at a blush, but he was too melty to do much more than whine as he nodded while I continued. “We’re not going to rush, though. We go at the slowest person’s pace, and if all we do is cuddle on the couch for a while before giving you goodnight kisses, I will be wonderfully happy.”

Swallowing, Ian managed to gather up a few scattered brain cells. “What if…what if it’s more of a Netflix and chill?”

Laughing, I gave him another squeeze, letting him go before the temptation of his submission became too distracting.

Before I could respond to his cheeky comment, he gave me another nervous glance. “Or a cartoons and cuddles?”

Sex or little time…he was bouncing back and forth between what seemed to be the two different extremes of what our night could hold.

“Cutie, no matter what, I’m going to have a wonderful time because I’m with the two people who matter most to me.” But I thought about what he’d said since I knew he wanted a genuine response.

“Thinking about what might happen, I’m good either way. Not to downplay how sexy you are, of course.” That got a groan and faintly pink cheeks, but he didn’t distract me. “But if my boy comes out because you’re nervous or too stressed to stay big, that’s fine too.”

I wasn’t sure Cohen would know what to do with Ian’s little side, but he wouldn’t let it get awkward. “You also don’t have to worry about Cohen seeing your little side or anything like that. He’s a nice guy, cutie.”

He just hadn’t dated the right kind of people until I’d popped into his life.

“Now, take a deep breath.” As he obeyed, I took his hand again and focused on the last few turns before we reached Cohen’s place. “Any limits for the time being?”

“I don’t…” He shrugged, sighing so cutely and so dramatically that I had to hold back a smile. “Um, don’t let me do anything stupid or that would upset you?”
