I had a feeling Tyler had made sure Wesley knew he could ask for space when he needed it. I wanted to sigh and tell Wesley what a great Dom he had, but then he might think I liked space. Nope. I’d gotten my fill of space over the past few years. Just the idea that I could live in Ian’s and Cohen’s pockets for a while sounded perfect.

But I kept that part to myself so Wesley didn’t worry about my being clingy or my mental health.

I was fine.

I was more than fine because my boy and my Dom thought I was amazing…and they didn’t seem to need space either.

Yay for having things in common with your partners.

“I will keep that in mind because that’s a very healthy way to look at relationships.” And it was something we’d need to plan for when we all moved into Cohen’s house. “And I will make sure Ian and Cohen both know to tell me if they need space.”

I didn’t think they would, though.

Cohen was one deep breath away from asking me to live with him and Ian liked the idea of being tucked in every night, so yeah, I didn’t think there would be an issue.

“Good.” He sighed again, making me want to laugh as he clearly tried not to worry or nag. “Sometimes subs especially have a hard time asking for what they need.”

Good point.

“I think that means more checklists.” That was what Cohen would say, at least. “I’ll see if there’s one online and leave it on the table for Ian. Oh, what about those hanging cards that they leave on the door at hotels? One side can say I need space and the other can say I need to be smothered.”

Wesley started coughing.

He was so dramatic.

When he could finally breathe, he hummed and made a funny thinking sound, clearly trying to decide how not to offend me. “Um, or you could just have conversations?”

I snorted.

I wasn’t worried about offending my nutty buddy.

Ha.

That was funny.

Trying not to giggle, I shook my head. “I’m going to look for an office supply store. They should be able to help me figure it out.”

There were probably online companies too.

This was going to be a fun project…just as soon as I got Wesley to stop worrying and sighing.

****

“There has been a change in plans.” I gave Ian a beaming smile as he opened the door, and in seconds he looked appropriately skeptical.

Smart men were so sexy.

“What did you do, Daddy?” Ian was trying not to giggle as he stepped back and eyed my duffel bag, but he couldn’t quite keep the cheeky grin off his face.

“I somehow missed the step of renting furniture for my apartment.” I shrugged as the giggles finally escaped my sexy boy. “I don’t know how it happened, but I’m thinking it’s Cohen’s fault.”

And I was going to tell Cohen it was Wesley’s fault.

Yep, not my fault, and not Ian’s, because he was too cute.

“Oh.” Ian’s wide eyes said he hadn’t thought of that either. “I was thinking about how nice it was to have you close. Sorry.”

“Me too.” But it couldn’t be helped and I wasn’t going to worry about it. “So. How would you like company tonight?”

Another beaming smile had my silly boy giggling and nodding. “Like, sleepover company or grown-up company?”

My first thought was either, but that sounded a bit vague to be a Daddy answer.

Hmm.

Stepping closer, I set my bag down as he closed the door and I pulled him into my arms. As he cuddled against my chest, subtly taking in a deep breath, I thought I had my answer, but I wasn’t going to randomly guess.

“What should we do?” Kissing his head, I tightened my hold on him and loved the needy sound that escaped my sexy boy. “We could have a little night and you could have a bubble bath after some cartoons, or we could have a grown-up night.”

As a shiver raced through him, I felt a rush of wicked pleasure. “You know, Cohen was very helpful in giving me ideas for grown-up fun we might want to explore.”

Ian went so still I wasn’t sure he was breathing, but after a moment, he melted against me. “Uncle Cohen gave you ideas? He wouldn’t mind?”

Uncle seemed to be almost like Sir or Master in this case, so I nodded and stroked my hand low on his back. “He wouldn’t mind. Remember, he said he would understand whatever we did as long as he wasn’t left out too much.”

To me, that meant full sex and my having too many sleepovers.

Ian nodded slowly against me, another shiver racing through him. I wanted to ask what he was thinking, but he got another sentence out before I could tease him. “You…you could go over to Uncle Cohen’s house tomorrow night and make it up to him.”
