And then he tackles me to the bed, pinning my arms over my head. “You did not just ask me what I’ve fantasized asking you for twelve fucking years.”
“I did.” I grin. “So what do you say, Roman Dominion? Be mine?”
“Been yours. Will stay yours.”
“Is that a yes?”
“It’s a fuck yes, Kitten. Now bring those claws out and dig them into my shoulders, because I’m about to punish you for stealing my moment, and it’s going to be oh so good.”
“Moments can’t be stolen anymore, remember? Here, in this place, we give them back. We took our not so merry memory and replaced it with a picture-perfect one.”
Roman stares at me, his smirk slow. “You’re a fucking genius, baby, but what I said still stands. Shirt off, nails in my back, legs locked around me. Now.”
I don’t make him wait, we did that long enough, and we won’t do it again.
I was meant to be his, and this man?
It’s true what he’s been saying, he has always been mine.
For the second time, we’re casualties of Christmas, and I couldn’t be happier.
I knew Blue Mountain Memories was going to be magic, but I had no idea how magical a rewritten memory would be.
They’ll be hills to climb from here, but it’s nothing we can’t handle.
Side by side.
Hand in hand.
So long as Roman is beside me, every memory made will be brighter than its last.
And if, somehow, it isn’t, we’ll be right back here, ready to relive it.
Together.
