Damn, I was a goner for this guy.

“Are you all right?” Remy stilled, his jaw set in concentration as he watched me closely.

“More than okay,” I replied in a thick voice. “Feels so good like this.” Reaching forward, I rested my fingers over his as he gripped the underside of my knees, and his eyes turned all soft again. My chest was achy and full as he thrust in shallow stabs. I shut my eyes and moaned, feeling so many sensations flooding my body at once.

“Keep your eyes on me, Alex.” He absorbed my whimper as he bent lower to connect our lips and tongue, his shaft driving farther inside. “Wanna watch you come.”

He reached for my cock, tightening his fist and jerking me in long strokes as he lightly scraped his fingernails over my nipples. It felt like being plugged into an electric socket, and I squirmed and moaned against the sheets.

“Damn, Alex. Love you like this.”

Readjusting my legs to his shoulders, the angle felt different, and I trembled as he railed my prostate with each thrust. “Uhhhgggg.” I panted openly as everything began to prickle—my spine, my nuts, even the roots of my hair. I gasped as my balls unloaded without warning, come spurting across my ribs and chest, some even landing on my chin.

Remy watched me with intense, needy eyes, his thrusts spellbinding, overwhelming me with emotion as he finally stilled, lips parted, and spent inside the condom.

When I lowered my legs to the mattress, he sank against me, tangling our arms and legs as his softened cock slid from my ass.

We stay wrapped together, our heads buried against each other’s shoulders, that hardened part wrapped around the soft—or was it the other way around?

Fucking hell, that’d been something else.

Eventually, he rolled out of bed to throw away the condom and wipe us down before cutting the lights and climbing back into our cocoon of sheets and limbs.

“I can’t believe I get to have you either.” I hummed as I lazily kissed his lips. “Is this for real?”

Remy embraced me tighter, his scruff skimming my throat. “Does this feel real enough? ’Cause I don’t plan on letting you go.”

“Promise?”

“Uh-huh.”

We grew quiet as our breaths evened out.

“What are you gonna do with that painting if it doesn’t fit your collection?” I asked in the cover of darkness, my mind spinning with so many warm thoughts.

“Save it,” he murmured against my cheek.

“For what?”

“Whatever the future holds?”

My heart skipped a beat. “Carl and Ted’s Excellent Adventure?”

“Mmm, sounds about right.” Remy kissed my head. “I love you. Now go to bed.”

So I did, falling into a perfect, dreamless sleep.

Epilogue

Remy

I glanced at the time on my phone, my nerves getting the best of me. It was the end of the spring semester, swim season was officially behind us, and Alex had finally scheduled his tattoo appointment. Not that the team was exempt from gym or pool time in the off-season, but the coach had given Alex permission to take a swim break while his ink healed.

I wasn’t sure why I was so anxious. By now, I had hundreds of tattoos under my belt, especially the simpler design he wanted. But this was Alex, and I didn’t want to fuck it up. He still made my stomach feel all tender and warm whenever I laid eyes on him, and to get to call him my boyfriend was an added bonus. He put up with my grumpy moods and soothed my unfounded fears whenever we were together.

According to my roommate, we were nauseating to be around, and I wore that as a badge of honor because who would’ve ever thought I’d feel that way about someone? Certainly not me.

Derek would make fun of me for eternity, but I could always return the favor. There was a girl he had a thing for, someone he’d met at a Stormer House party, and I’d never let him live it down.

“What the hell is this?” Bruno said from behind the front desk. Grunted, more like it.

I headed toward him. “What’s up?”

“You know these people?” He nodded toward the street. “They’re not scheduled, so they must be walk-ins.”

People? I turned the corner and was stunned to see Bailey, Jordan, Dave, Tim, Carter, and a few other swimmers flanking Alex as he pulled open the door and stepped inside.

I smirked. “Did you bring an entourage to give you support?”

“Not exactly.” Alex smiled warily. “They all want tattoos.”

“Seriously?”

“Your art is way cool. We saw photos,” Tim said, and my gaze swung to Bailey, who was smiling like he was actually proud.

My art show had been last week, and I’d earned an A on my exhibit. I’d had to choose my five best paintings, and I didn’t include the one of Hummingbird Lake. That was private and something I’d only shared with Alex. I’d brought it home to store in my room for future plans.
