“Hey baby, we’re more than okay.” He kisses me with so much care, no hurry or franticness, just two people falling in love, well, in love already on my end, at least. When we pull back, I ask what I really want to know.

“What about your family? Are they upset?”

“Once I explained it all to my mom and dad, they both understood. They want you to know when you’re ready; they are waiting.” Wow. They sound like my parents. Mom and Dad would have loved them, and they would have loved Owen as well.

“So, how do I make it up to you?” I ask, trailing his fingers along the V of his waist. He growls into my neck and bites me sending shockwaves of electricity through my body right to my clit.

“Oh you will, baby, make no doubt about that. But, right now, I have to go meet a supplier. So how about I think of your punishment and give it to you, tonight. Sound good?”

“Yes,” I moan when his tongue makes a trail right up my neck to my mouth. His tongue slides into my mouth, warm and wet, making me submit to him. I won’t fight it. I love it when I can let go, and he takes us to new heights. Right when I am about to beg him to give in, my phone beeps, and he chuckles.

“Come on, baby. You get your phone and let me go do this. The faster we get our business done, the sooner we can get back to each other.” He kisses me once more before walking out of the door. Sighing, I pull my phone from my pocket and open the email.

“Oh my God.” My hand flies to my mouth when I realize it is the DNA results for May and the girls, and my own has come in, which makes sense, seeing as how I submitted mine at the same time. I am itching to open it and find out, but I won’t do it without the girls. So, instead, I text May.

Me: Holy crap. The DNA results are back.

May: Did you open them?

Me: No. I wanted to do it with you here and the girls on video chat.

May: Okay, let me tell the girls. What time should I be there?

Me: 6 pm

The rest of the day goes by in a blur. I texted Owen earlier and told him what was going on. Of course, his first reaction was to be here for me, and I don’t have a problem with that, but like I told him, make sure all of your work is done.

There is a knock at my door. I know who it is, but for some reason, opening this door feels like opening it up to something I won’t be able to close. “Hey lady,” I say to May after squaring my shoulders and putting on my big girl panties.

“Hi. Are you nervous?” I nod my head, trying to smile.

“I am so nervous. I mean you and your sister have more of a reason than me, but my own answers are also nerve-wracking.”

“I bet. I mean how great would it be for you to find out you have a brother or sister somewhere.” She hugs me, and something about it feels calming.

“Yeah, that would be awesome, but first, let's find out who the father of you and your sisters is.” Nodding her head, she pulls out her phone, and I hear a bunch of beeps.

“Ladies are you there?” May asks into her phone.

“Yep, we’re all here.” Various responses come back, letting us know they are all on the video call.

“Excellent. I am going to give the phone to May so she can open it. I will give you ladies your privacy while you find out.” I am going to leave the room but the voice of who I assume is January stops me.

“I don’t think so, ma’am. You made this possible. We would love for you to be here and then once we have a moment, we want to be here for you.” Her words bring tears to my eyes, and I am too emotional to speak, so I nod my head.

“Okay, are we ready?” Mays calls out.

“Yes,” they all say. Slowly, May hits the download button and then clicks on the zip file to open it. I watch her eyes read it, first scrutinizing it for pertinent information, but then I know the moment she finds the answer. “Oh my God, May, you’re killing us. What does it say?” One of her sisters calls out. She looks up at me and into her phone, tears falling from her eyes, and smiles.

“It’s him. He is our father. It’s the president.” Holy shit. I mean, I know we took the test because they suspected since he was on the list, but having it confirmed for them is huge.
