“Sweetheart, I remember all the sexy outfits you put on.”

“You do?”

“Hell, yes, woman. What do you think is going on up here most of the time?”

I tapped my temple and she laughed.

“Gear shifts and baby food?”

I nodded soberly, pulling her towards me. She was just wearing the slip she’d had under her dress and damn if I didn’t find that sexy as hell.

“Yes. And my lady’s luscious tatas.”

Then I motorboated her.

“Whiskey!”

She was laughing when I lifted my head to kiss her. I squeezed her bottom and nuzzled her neck. As usual, I went from zero to sixty around her. I was hard and ready for a little slap and tickle.

“Do you think we have time for a quickie?”

“No, we do not.”

I groaned and kissed her again. She kissed me back, getting into it. I could tell she was in the mood. Or getting there.

“Wahhhhhhhh!”

I muffled a curse and went back to kissing her neck while she laughed.

“I’ll go get him.”

“Thank you.” She looked up at me with those unbelievably pretty blue eyes of hers. “Don’t worry, I promise we can have some fun later.”

“We can?”

I knew she was usually tired at the end of the day. With two little ones and another on the way, it was no surprise that she was tuckered out. That’s why I tried to get in some morning lovin’.

And afternoon lovin’.

Early evening was a good time for lovin’ too.

Basically anytime she was awake, I was ready.

“Yes.” She gave me a quick peck. “I promise.”

I was wearing a stupid grin as I packed the rest of the supplies, rinsed off and put on the button down shirt Becks picked out for me. I loved that we picked out each other’s clothes. I loved every damn thing about our life together. I stopped what I was doing and just looked at her as we loaded the car.

“What?”

“You’re so beautiful.”

My lady was smiling as I drove our little family to the cabin. This afternoon we got to watch hell freeze over. It was really happening.

Lucky was getting married.

Chapter 36

Molly

“Oh, it’s so beautiful!”

I stood arm in arm with Sally on the deck staring at the twinkling lights and flowers. I imagined we looked pretty silly. Both of us were looking like balloons that were ready to pop.

“God, I hope there are comfortable seats. My ankles feel like sausages.”

I snickered at Sally’s comment. I knew how her ankles felt. Mine felt the same way.

She was even more pregnant than I was, but only by a couple of weeks. Apparently, joining the Devil’s Rider sisterhood included getting knocked up at the same time. And now Janet and Becky were pregnant again too.

Kaylie and Kirsten were the only non–pregnant females over the age of eighteen in a ten-mile radius.

Actually, Kirsten was the only one we knew without a doubt wasn’t currently pregnant. And that was only because Callaway had told every single guy in their crew that Lucky wasn’t getting any. The guys were relentless when it came to tormenting each other, but it was all in good fun. I giggled and then groaned, holding my bladder. Laughing made me have to pee.

“I need to–”

“Me too!”

Sally and I hurried into the house. Someone was using the downstairs bathroom. We looked at each other and raced up the stairs to the bathroom. ‘Racing’ being a fast waddle in our case. I let her go first since she was a little bit more pregnant.

I danced from foot to foot waiting my turn. She had barely moved out of the way when I practically threw myself on the toilet. Sally just held her belly and laughed at me.

“Your face!”

“Hmmm?”

“I think I’ve seen your ‘O’ face, Mols!”

I started laughing and peeing at the same time.

“Well, it does feel really, really good.”

We were still cackling when we came downstairs. Janet was bustling around, telling everyone what to do. We offered to help and were told to head outside and find the two seats that had cushions and foot stools.

There were rows of seats set up to accommodate the guys who were invited. Not the whole club this time, because of the sensitive nature of the wedding couple’s predicament. But enough that the whole deck was filled with chairs, all facing the dock where the ceremony was to take place.

We settled into the wide plastic chairs Janet had left us near the front and sighed as we put our feet up on the little plastic foot stools. She’d even put cushions on the chairs for our sore backs. Janet could boss me around any day, I decided. Especially when she seemed to think of absolutely everything.

There were even water bottles under our seats. And snacks. I grabbed an organic fruit leather and unwrapped it, biting in.

“Hmmm…”

“Where’s Angela?”

“Home with Mrs. Donahue.”

I started giggling again.

“You’re Mrs. Donahue.”

Sally started giggling too.

“Well, the other Mrs. Donahue. The OG.”
