“Yay.” Tate gave me another quick kiss before bouncing off the bed. “Clean your penis, Daddy. Oh, and don’t forget someone has to give me an orgasm later if you want me to take a quick shower.”

There wasn’t an ounce of embarrassment in the nut as he bounced off the bed wearing an ear-to-ear grin. “I get to pick the middle.”

He seemed more excited about that than he did about the orgasm later.

“I think he’s a control freak too, just in very different ways than you are.” I was serious but Tate started snickering like it was the funniest thing he’d ever heard. “I’m right and you know it.”

Nodding, he crashed into me and finally got his laughter under control. “It’s great. You’re both just so fucking funny.”

I was not funny.

I wasn’t sure what I was most of the time—well, aside from being Joel’s Daddy—but I wasn’t funny.

****

I was stupid.

“What if Daddy goes in the middle and then Master and I are the snugglers?” Joel ran around to the other side of the bed and stretched out, pretending to sleep with fake snores to make it more realistic. “No. That feels wrong.”

Popping up like toast, Joel frowned at the bed and completely ignored the way Tate was sighing. “Let’s try again. I’ll figure it out. I’m smart.”

He was also a pain in the butt.

“Can we rethink this bribe next time?” Tate was doing his best to politely call out my stupidity, but he was definitely questioning my intelligence. “I didn’t expect this level of…chaos.”

I appreciated how subtle he was trying to be and nodded quickly. “Yes. This is something we should’ve talked about together first.”

Before I could apologize, Joel rolled like a log to the other side of the bed and made pretend sleeping sounds again. Tate rolled his eyes as he tried not to smile. “It’s a learning experience. I could see why you thought it was a fun bribe. He got his work done fast and was only in the shower twenty minutes. Hell, he didn’t even get any new bruises.”

“Because you’re going to give me my orgasm.” His don’t worry tone had me fighting back laughter. “I haven’t forgotten.”

The fact that he looked like he was pretending to be dead as he spoke hadn’t helped my ability to keep my sighs or laughter to myself.

“I haven’t.” I was still hoping being polite and calm would help him to settle down but it hadn’t worked so far. “But thank you for reminding us.”

There was no way he’d go to bed without his orgasm, but I couldn’t decide if he was overstimulated and that was why he was so wound up or if he just wasn’t tired enough yet. It could’ve gone either way but I was leaning toward overstimulated.

Maybe we should’ve encouraged him to jerk off in the shower?

Hmm.

Leaning toward Tate, I whispered softly. “Would letting him have his shower orgasm have made him more relaxed?”

“That is a very good question.” Tate’s head cocked and he started studying Joel, but that was just as funny as him trying not to laugh. “We’ll have to make notes and figure that out.”

“I’m one big science experiment.” The dead body on the bed didn’t seem to mind, so I didn’t apologize. “This isn’t going to work either.”

When Joel sat up and seemed to be thinking that sleep would be easier if his head was at the bottom of the bed, I decided we were done. “You’re going to be in the middle so that Master Tate and I can both help give you an orgasm.”

Somehow, the mechanics of his orgasm had completely eluded our dramatic sub. He went immediately still and nodded slowly as he stopped flipping himself around. “That might be a good idea. Four hands are better than one real one.”

“So that’s all set.” Tate flicked off the light before Joel could change his mind or before I could decide if I needed to respond to the real hand comment. “Phones are all plugged in and the alarm is set.”

This had to have been the squirrely-sub version of the “one more drink of water” con, but I wasn’t confident enough about that to figure out a punishment. The way Tate was watching Joel made me think he was having similar thoughts even though he didn’t call Joel out.

So he wasn’t confident enough to call him out?

Either way, I was glad when Joel sighed and rolled over into the middle of the bed. “Fine.”

Hmm, so he had been fucking with us?

“But what if Daddy gets lonely or Master Tate needed cuddles more?” Joel’s question had me reconsidering again.

“We will tell you if we need to be the person in the middle.” That was easy to promise because I was pretty sure I could say that without having a heart attack. “For the most part, I can say that being in the middle makes me slightly claustrophobic.”
