“You come beautifully, Em.” He kisses my lips all too briefly and runs a finger down my cheek. “I love the color in your cheeks from your orgasm.”

“Let me,” I say reaching low on his stomach, but he stops my hands once again.

“Not tonight. Come here.” He tugs gently on me, drawing me closer to him as he lies down on the bed. I snuggle into his chest and trace my fingers over the hard ridges of his stomach.

I’m suddenly sad remembering that he’s leaving again tomorrow. This may be the first night that I get to sleep in his arms, but I know it’s going to be enough to ruin every other night we spend apart.

“I miss you already,” I whisper against his chest before falling into a comfortable sleep.

Chapter 26

Kincaid

I’ve been awake for at least an hour listening to Emmalyn breathe against my chest; the goose bumps from the cool inhale is chased away by the warmth of her exhale. I’ve laid as still as possible, but I know that through the night her t-shirt has ridden up because I can feel the wet heat of her core against the lucky skin of my thigh. My cock has been begging me to roll her on her back and bury him deep inside of her.

Up until this point, I’ve ignored him. I’m not a boy who has to listen to his body every time it has an erection. She whimpers in her sleep, and I hold her tighter against my chest. She’s done it several times throughout the night, and the firmness of my arms around her has seemed to work to settle her down thus far.

I hear a light gasp from her mouth, and I know she’s now awake. I kiss the top of her head, but remain quiet as she wakes. I let my fingers inch the t-shirt up her back so I can run my hand along her bare spine. She nuzzles deeper into my chest, and I hate to have to leave this bed, but there are a few things I wanted to get done with her today before I left.

“I could get used to this,” she says allowing the hand she had tucked under her chin to roam over my stomach.

I love the feel of her tiny hands on my skin. I crave her touch, and I know I’ll be miserable while I’m away. The only contact I’ll have with her will be through sporadic text messages, those will be even fewer and far between. There aren’t many cell towers in the area we’re heading to next. We’ll have even less contact than we did on my last trip to South Africa.

“I want you to get used to this,” I say against the top of her head. “I want you to stay in this room while I’m gone. I want to know that you’re in my bed each night, waiting for me to come home.”

I feel her smile against my skin and hear a light laugh. “What?” I ask.

She rests her chin on my chest and looks up at me. “I was going to ask if it would be alright if I stayed in here while you were gone. I know your smell on the sheets would be comforting.”

Her eyes shift to my mouth, and my cock throbs in reminder that he’s still alone. “I need to get a shower.” I shift my weight and crawl out from under her.

“I’ll join you,” she says, and I can hear her climbing off the bed behind me.

“Em,” I say and scrub my hands over my face. How the fuck do I tell her I need to take care of myself in the shower? I turn to face her because there’s no sense in even trying to hide what I have going on in the front of my boxers. “I have to…” I trail off and grin when her eyes widen at the sight of me.

She runs her tongue over her bottom lip clearly impressed, and all she’s seen is the outline. I stand a little taller and think about putting my hands on my hips and puffing out my chest, but I stop myself.

“Come on, big boy. I’ll take care of that in here.” She grabs my hand and pulls me behind her.

After watching her come last night and maintaining my vow to not rush her into sex, I laid awake for an hour running the memory of her arching her back and groaning as she came through my mind as if it were on a video loop. There’s no way I’m denying anything she offers this morning.

“Start the water,” she instructs as I just stand inside of the bathroom staring at her.

I obey and turn back to her just in time to see the t-shirt she’d worn all night drift to the floor. My heart stops. Right there in the bathroom of the Cerberus MC Clubhouse, I die a thousand deaths at the sight of her glorious body in the full light of the day.
