“Well, that was rather impressive,” Kendall said from the bleachers where he sat with Tyson.

“I can’t wait to see your entire performance,” Tyson said. “That was jaw dropping. Have you ever fallen before?”

I grinned. “About a million times. I might have permanent brain damage from it at this point.”

“That has to be why you like my brother so much when you could be cheering for Dale Earnhardt, Junior.”

A giggle escaped my lips, one that turned into full-blown laugher, when I saw Tyson get smacked upside the head by his brother.

“Boys,” Kendall drawled.

I pushed my hand between my thighs, then walked carefully to the group.

“What’s that?” Coffey asked, looking at me with a weirded-out expression on his face.

“This is a thigh burn, or whatever you call it, when you have sequins rubbing against soft flesh,” I grumbled as I took a seat on the bleachers and spread my thighs apart, all unladylike.

“Gotcha,” he nodded. “Are y’all hungry? I’m trying out a new recipe, and it’s almost done. I started it thinking that Hades and Hannibal would be here today, but apparently there’s a freak snowstorm in Kansas, and they’re stuck there for the night.”

“Bummer,” I said, sad to hear they wouldn’t be making it.

I didn’t get to see all of my sisters anymore with any sort of consistency, but when I did, it was always special.

Nash took a seat beside me, then peered down between my splayed thighs. “That looks rough.”

It felt rough.

I twisted so that he could get a better look at the raw spot.

He poked it.

“Hey!” I cried out, punching him in the arm.

“Oww,” he laughed as he covered his arm. “What was that for?”

“What that was for was you trying to kill me,” I countered.

“You’re delusional if you think that was trying to kill you,” he countered. “How are you going to cover that up for your performance tonight?”

I patted my thigh before saying, “We have a really good first aid kit.”

His eyes narrowed. “Can you even reach that spot?”

I grinned. “Probably not. But I know someone who can.”

CHAPTER 14

Just sayin’, but monsters are real, and they look just like normal people.

Watching her perform had been magical.

I’d seen her on a few YouTube videos.

She also posted all kinds of stories, that I may or may not watch every time she did.

I’d expected her to get me to take care of her wound, but when I walked into the infirmary, it was to find Autry, the man who’d met us at the gate, pulling down a first aid kit from a cabinet.

“We really need to get that nurse hired,” Autry said. “I know basic first aid and all, but I faint at the sight of blood.”

I walked forward and said, “I got it, man.”

“Gladly.” He abandoned her seconds later, hotfooting it out of the room as if he was being completely serious about blood bothering him.

“You did that on purpose,” I accused as I walked into the room and reached for the kit. “Are you going to keep that on, or are you changing?”

She hopped up, snapping her fingers as she did. “I was going to change.”

“Well, just take the outfit off, and put one of those paper gowns on for now.”

She eyed the paper gowns, then glanced back at me.

“I’ve literally been inside of you,” I told her bluntly. “Plus, it’s on a weekly basis that I get fan mail brought to me that literally has no less than five ass, tit, or pussy pics in it. Sometimes, I get that all from one person.”

She curled her lip up in disgust. “I swear, some of these ladies need more self-worth.”

Agreed.

“Get changed.”

She turned around and presented her back to me. “Unzip me?”

I did, taking my sweet time.

She noticed that I did, too, because when she glanced back at me over her shoulder, her face was flushed.

“Thanks,” she said as she slipped out of the outfit.

I watched the length of her naked back become exposed, followed shortly by the top curve of her ass.

She had it to her feet when I realized that she wasn’t wearing any panties underneath.

“You don’t wear underwear?” I croaked.

I slipped on the paper gown for her, covering the majority of her body with it.

“Thanks,” she said as she took a seat. “And no. Panty lines are a no-no while wearing these kinds of things.”

I could see that.

Though, it might’ve given me a slight heart attack when I saw it.

“You’re welcome,” I replied, waiting for her to hop up.

She did, splaying her thighs wide as soon as she was settled.

I tried extremely hard not to look at her exposed sex but didn’t manage to accomplish the feat.

When she leaned back on her elbows, it was to watch her breasts splay apart, and her pussy glisten.

I had to clench my hands into fists to keep from reaching out and running my fingertips along her bare sex.
