Edward had been expecting a quick fuck, but this was something else. He pushed in and out of the gorgeous man below him and reveled in the noises he was making. Gasps and moans and a few long, rumbling groans. Daniel pushed up into him with every thrust, and it was like making love with someone he’d been with for years. Not that he had experience like that. He had one fuck buddy he met with when he was rarely home in Virginia, but sex with him had never felt like this.

Stunned, Edward came down over Daniel and bit down on his shoulder. Sweat had built between them and he tasted salt. Unbelievably turned-on, he grinded down into Daniel, the man’s round ass cushioning, pleasure rippling up his spine. He licked the nape of Daniel’s neck, then sucked the flesh into his mouth. Daniel let out another of those lengthy, sexy moans.

A part of Edward remained professional through it all, remained aware that this was a mark and not a real fuck, but another part of him was astonished by how very hot the sex was. He found himself counting in his head, trying to keep his brain on the right track, but with every one of those hip rolls and moans, he was fast falling deeper into the sex. He hadn’t had sex like this in years…and to find it with a traitor?

He pushed up on his hands again, determined to turn this back into nothing but purely fucking. He drilled into that perfect ass and worked to detach his mind at least partially. But it wasn’t easy with the highly receptive man underneath him. It was obvious that Daniel loved being fucked, and it was all Edward could do not to lose himself in this surprisingly good sex. Great sex.

Fucking fantastic sex.

Daniel made a strangled noise and suddenly tensed, his ass clamping around Edward hard enough to make him see stars. Holy shit, the man was coming and he hadn’t even stroked himself off. Edward angled his body to better hit Daniel’s prostate, and he got a loud cry in reward. He thrust faster and faster, sweat dripping off his chest to land on Daniel’s back.

Dark, delicious pleasure drew up his balls, and he shouted his own release into the hotel room as he came into the condom. He got up on his knees and gripped Daniel’s hips as he shuddered and let go with a release he felt in his damn toes. Daniel moaned and writhed underneath him and when Edward pulled out, he could only hover there and pant, still too stunned to do more than work on breathing.

“Oh, hell yeah,” Daniel breathed as he stretched and rolled, bringing one leg around Edward. “You were right.”

“Right about what?”

“That this vacation took a turn for the better.”

“Oh, yeah? Give me a few minutes, and we can make it even better.”

“Not sure it could be better than that.”

“I love a good challenge.”

Daniel grinned up at Edward, and something in that smile made Edward’s stomach clench. He found himself smiling back, the whole time realizing that killing this man was going to be a problem.

Chapter Two

Edward tucked his backpack into the storage compartment under the rear bench seat and then walked to the captain’s chair in front of the steering wheel. There was another small drawer down on the floor. He jerked it open, stuffed the gun inside, and pulled a rag on top to hide it. Shutting the drawer, he stood and stretched his arms over his head, lengthening his body into a single, long line. Muscles burned and he could feel vertebrae pop into place along his back. The sun shone brightly down on him and glinted off the turquoise-blue waves lapping against the dock. The sky was a brilliant dark blue with only a few faint wisps of clouds lazily passing overhead. It was a perfect day.

Or rather, it would be a perfect day if he could start getting the information he was looking for out of this Daniel.

The man’s act was flawless as far as he could see. There was something so utterly disarming in his sweet, somewhat naïve persona. A quiet strength seemed to shine from his green eyes, but it was tempered by a layer of insecurity.

It was all an act, of course. Edward had spent a lifetime perfecting his own acts, and he could appreciate a good one when he saw it. And Daniel…he was good.

Good enough that Edward found himself wanting to believe him. He wanted to believe that he’d met someone unflinchingly nice and sweet. And attentive. Holy fuck, Daniel had a knack for getting him to talking about random, silly things during the dinner they’d shared. Yet, Daniel watched him in such a way that Edward felt as if they were the only two people on the entire island.
