“What do you think?” Danielle asked, kissing his cheek then their son’s.
“I think it looks amazing.”
“You really think so?”
“Yes, and on another story, they’re admitting defeat.” He held the paper up for her to see.
She released a little chuckle. “Bless them. They should have realized long before now that you and I are both stubborn as can be.”
“That they should.” He pulled her down and kissed her again.
Their son started to whimper.
“It’s feeding time.”
He handed him over and watched as she took the seat beside them. She lifted her shirt up, and moved their baby so that he could feed from her.
Some men hated their woman breastfeeding. To Brice, it was one of the sweetest actions he’d ever seen. He truly loved this woman more than anything.
“I’m coming on the tour.”
“Hell, yeah, you know women are going to be all over you. You’ll do well for book sales.” She winked at him.
He knew she didn’t care about the book sales. What she cared about were her readers that came to her and had found success in trying her recipes.
“I love you, Danielle Ivory.”
“And I love you, Brice Ivory. What do you say, another five years? Ten? I’m feeling in a gambling mood.” She winked at him.
“How about we go another fifty?”
“A hardcore. You sure you can handle another fifty years with me?”
“I can handle anything. So long as you keep looking at me with love in your eyes, I’ll take it all.”
“Then, let’s go for another fifty then because I know without a doubt I will never, ever fall out of love with you.”
