After locking her apartment, she slowly walked back to the bedroom.

In her mind, the memory of his lips on her pussy flashed in her mind. It was so instant, so amazing. His tongue had been a dream, but then, it had quickly turned into a disaster.

The blood on the bed annoyed her, as did his reaction to her. Gathering up the sheets, she noticed he hadn’t bothered to take his boxer briefs, which made her growl in anger.

Instead of throwing them out, she picked them up and moved through her apartment, toward the small laundry room she’d been able to have. She threw her sheets in the wash and was tempted to put his black boxers in with her pristine white sheet, but no matter how angry she was, she wasn’t going to destroy her washing.

“Stupid, Amelia.” She threw them into her dark wash that was waiting for her clothes. For now, she had the sheet to contend with. With the washing machine finally on, she moved back to her bedroom and quickly made the bed.

There was no way she was going to be able to sleep in that thing tonight, which sucked. She was tired. Exhausted and now starving because she hadn’t eaten since lunch.

Amelia went to her kitchen. Their two mugs of cold coffee stared at her from the counter, mocking her. This wasn’t fair.

What had started out as a friendly coffee had become something even worse.

She moved toward the coffee mugs, picked them up, and then tossed the contents down the drain.

Virgin. The way he’d said it. Almost as if the very word had been too disgusting to even say. Tears filled her eyes.

Why did he have to go and spoil it? Why did she?

Would he try to have her removed from the pack?

Alpha had said her place was within the pack, and he’d never force her out. Her parents had tried. Even the pack had tried.

The Poison Wolves MC was a different matter entirely. With Wolfe being one of them, would they try to remove her now?

Chapter Six

“You’re in a pissy mood,” Enzo said.

Wolfe glared at him and tore into his sandwich. Ever since last night, he hadn’t been in a good mood. Even the smell of coffee pissed him off.

He’d spent the whole night awake, remembering that moment. Thinking of Amelia being in pain because of him.

He hadn’t even realized that she was hurting as he’d … penetrated her. His own needs had been so important to him. Feeling her tight cunt wrapped around his dick, and she had been tight, so incredibly tight. He hadn’t even realized that she might be a virgin.

“Fuck off.” He chewed his sandwich, not really tasting it.

“Don’t even get started with him,” Gunnar said.

“He smashed the coffee pot,” Gray said.

They had all come to sit down at the table in the main kitchen of the clubhouse.

Wolfe stared at his club brothers, and he wasn’t happy, not even a little bit. “Leave me the fuck alone,” he said.

Enzo snorted. “So, who has pissed you off? Is it one of the beta team again?”

“No.” Josh had stayed out of their way since he fucked up. They all had to make a decision as to whether or not to keep him on the beta team. Josh kept fucking up, and one day, it was going to cost one of the lives of the pack, and none of them could have that.

He finished off his second sandwich in a couple of bites. Wolfe didn’t taste any of the cheese or pickle filling. Annoyance washed through him.

Amelia flashed through his mind, tears in her eyes streaming out. The pain looking right back at him. He hadn’t reacted … great.

Slamming his chair back, he moved to the counter. The table went silent.

“What?” he asked.

“You know, instead of letting your anger fester, you should tell us what is bothering you,” Enzo said as he knitted. “We could help.”

He had a ball of wool on the table, two knitting needles, and was making something. What? None of them knew, but he’d taken it up a year ago, and since then, he’d knitted the whole clubhouse a scarf.

Wolfe wore his out on the road when it was cold. “Go back to your fucking knitting.”

“Hate it all you want, I see that you wear my shit.”

“What are you making?” Wolfe asked, trying to keep the focus on Enzo.

When Enzo had sat down at the table over a year ago with a ball of wool and some knitting needles, the club had taken the piss.

Wolfe had thought it was one of the funniest things he’d ever seen. Hilarious. He still did, but it hadn’t stopped Enzo.

“Not going to say seeing as you’re trying to stop making this about your shit mood.” Enzo stared at him over the ridge of his knitting needles. “We can’t help unless you say something.”
