Crash leans in and puts a finger under her chin, using it to guide her to look at him. “Sunshine, I've fucking loved you since before that first kiss. There were a lot of years, where I was too fucked up to know it, but you’re never getting rid of me now.”
“Any of us,” says Devil. “But feel free to share, because I thought you felt the same but someone told me it doesn’t count if you don’t say it.”
Her eyes go shiny, and she struggles to get the words out. “I love you guys too, all of you, but I just never—I see what it's like around here. I didn't really expect you to… well, to…”
I pull her to me, all the way up so she's in my lap and our lips are barely apart. Her breathing is shallow and nervous. “Angel, if you think we're ever going to fucking let you go, you're wrong. Easy as that. No matter what. We'll keep you safe, will kill for you, we'll please you and fuck you within an inch of your life. Every day, for-fucking-ever. And don't you forget it.”
She giggles through her tears. “That… that sounds almost like a twisted kind of marriage proposal. Oh God, I shouldn't even have—”
“You think Eagle-eye's busy?” asks Devil.
Crash stands. “I'll go check.”
“Hey!” Summer looks between us in confusion. “I need time to prepare. You can’t just drag me out there and have him say some words.”
“Isn’t that pretty much like getting married?” Devil asks.
“Yeah, I guess so,” she says, hesitating. “If that’s what people usually do, I suppose that’s fine.”
“Honey, do you want a party?” I ask. “Flowers, dress, all that shit?”
She nibbles her lip, so I know she’s feeling insecure. “A little.”
“Then you’ll fucking get it.”
She blinks at me in shock. “What?”
“Look, if we’re going to declare you our old lady in front of everyone, I wanna do it fucking proper. I want everyone there so that there's no fucking doubt and so that they can be fucking jealous of us because we’re the lucky fuckers who get you. And I want you there, looking so fucking beautiful everyone will hate us for having you.”
And with that, I shove Crash off the coffee table and put her there, then get down on one knee, because contrary to popular belief, I'm not a fucking savage. “Summer Hale, I want you to be my old lady, from now until fucking forever. I'll love you, protect you, hold you and fuck you until you can’t see straight. Will you accept me as your old man?”
“I…” I've never seen her eyes so fucking big as she looks down at me. “Preacher, I…”
Crash and Devil look at each other, and I don't give a fuck if they think this is stupid. They can claim her on their own terms. But then Devil kneels next to me.
“I don't think I can put it better than Preacher did, but we're all in on this, all three of us. He's not getting you just to yourself, baby, and I want you to know that you're stuck with all three of us. No one's ever going to be as safe as you. You didn't get much of a chance to find your own way under your Dad's thumb, but whatever you ever set your mind to doing, we're gonna make sure you will, because there are going to be no fucking limits on you ever again.”
“Oh.” She's fanning herself as her eyes get real wobbly. She sniffles hard. “I—”
Crash drops to his knees, so now all three of us are kneeling in front of her. “I don't do words real good, but Preacher's right, and Devil's right, and you're getting all three of us, whether you fucking want to or not. And if Preacher wants to make a big fucking deal about this, we're gonna make the biggest deal anyone ever has in this club, and that's no small fucking task. But whatever the fuck it is, you're worth it. So, how about it? Will you have us?”
“Oh my God, you big idiots, of course I will. Get up here so I can kiss you. All of you!”
Devil's the quickest, and they lock lips like it'll kill them if they don't. I defer to Crash for the second one, because once she's in my damn arms, I'm not letting her go for a long fucking time.
She cries and squeezes and wiggles and hollers and I fucking love it.
Poor Eagle-eye, who's gonna have to deal with our shit, I think with a mental chuckle, and then I show Summer exactly how fucking good I can kiss.

SUMMER
The Eagle's Roost is packed. People everywhere, and it's closed to anyone outside of the Screaming Eagles. I had no idea there were this many of them, even after my rescue and that day at the Hall of Grace. But when Preacher said he wanted to make a big deal out of this, he wasn't kidding. It's been a couple of months to get everything in place, but now it's finally happening. Not that my guys haven't kept me plenty busy in the meantime. It's a wonder I still remember how to walk.
