Andrew pressed a gentle kiss against my knuckles.
“Just his kids?” Rhett asked as he cocked an eyebrow at me playfully.
I smirked and brushed my fingers through his hair affectionately.
“All of your kids. I don’t care. I just want to be with you all,” I replied as I peered at all of them. “I want us to be our own family.”
“We already are,” Akio said as he rubbed the side of my waist with a loving look on his face.
He had no idea how much those words meant to me. When I was with them, I felt like I was at home. I felt like the future was bright and full of opportunities. It wasn’t unreachable like it used to seem to me. With them, anything was possible.
“That settles it,” I said with a relieved smile on my face. “I thought I was going to pass out there for a second. I was so nervous.”
“You really thought we didn’t love you back?” Benjamin smirked as he rose to his feet, leaning close to kiss my temple. The others got to their feet as well, kissing me and brushing their hands along my body.
“It seemed too good to be true,” I admitted. How could I have four people in love with me? Then again, it seemed as crazy as me being in love with four people.
Rhett put his arm around my shoulders, pulling me against his side.
“I guess we’ll have to show you how much we love you,” he chuckled as his eyes darted to the others. “Let’s go on a date.”
“A five way date?” I asked with a laugh.
“I think that’s a great idea,” Andrew said as he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. “Isn’t that what boyfriends do?”

A few months later
Sunlight illuminated the cozy interior of our loft at the start of a new day. However, that wasn’t what woke me up. A subtle sensation on the side of my neck made me stir, my eyes slowly sliding open only to squint against the sun.
