Andrew pushed up into me as I sank down, meeting my bounces. He thrusted deep and hard, stealing the breath from me as he hit a good spot.

“It’s about to feel even better,” he promised before dropping his hand to rub his thumb against my clit. “I want to feel you fall apart.”

That jolt of pleasure launched me toward the edge. I slid my fingers into his hair, gripping tightly as he pounded into me. I teetered on the edge, the pressure and heat nearing its peak.

“So close!” I gasped.

Andrew crashed his lips against mine, his thrusts starting to grow erratic as he neared his orgasm too. His teeth grazed my bottom lip, the hint of pain tipping me over.

A burst of pleasure rocked me, making me shudder violently on his lap as he continued to thrust in and out of me until he came with a groan. Pleased sounds filled his car as we managed a few more movements, drawing out the bliss for a few more seconds.

I slumped against his chest once the aftershocks subsided. I couldn’t even wrap my mind around the pleasure and the intensity. He touched me in a way I hadn’t ever experienced before, and damn, I wouldn’t ever forget this night.

Andrew glided his hands up my back as he kissed me softer, his lips caressing instead of devouring. His breaths were still heavy, gradually returning to normal.

“Everything you imagined and more?” he chuckled. “I could’ve done way more in a bed.”

I cracked a smile as I leaned back to meet his gaze. I could tell that he was still iffy about taking my virginity, but I didn’t regret my decision. It felt too good, too right. He saved me, so I felt safe with him.

“You did more than enough just in a car,” I assured him as I stroked his hair, making his eyes flutter shut. I smiled wider as I watched him revel in the gentle strokes. He certainly seemed to like that. “Thank you. For saving me… and… you know.”

Andrew smiled back and nodded.

“I know,” he said before looking toward the small cabin. “Come on, let’s get you inside. I need you to be good, though. No sneaking off.”

After what just happened, I didn’t feel as motivated as before to ditch them and run off. Maybe being stuck in the woods with four hot bodyguards wasn’t the end of the world.

Maybe this was the beginning of plenty of wonderful opportunities.

As soon as I arrived at the cabin, I climbed out of my black car, seeing Andrew’s car parked not too far away. A relieved breath broke from me. They made it.

But was Emery okay?

Benjamin and Rhett were still an hour behind me, making sure no one was trailing us. That attack opened our eyes as to why Emery’s father hired us. Someone was sending people after her.

It pained me that she got caught up in her father’s dirty laundry when she was a good person. She could be a troublemaker, but I couldn’t help but see her energetic, uncontrollable nature as charming. She had a whole life ahead of her. Of course, she wanted to take charge of her own life.

When Andrew suggested we reconvene at the cabin and stay there for a while until the heat died down, I already knew how Emery was going to react. After that news and the attack, all I wanted to do was check on her and make sure she was okay.

I headed up to the porch, my black boots thumping against the old wood. Andrew had owned this cabin for a while. We used it to get away and relax, but it seemed like we were using it for emergencies as well. In more ways than one, Emery proved to be an outlier.

I walked into the cabin, which had a mostly open floor plan. The kitchen was to the left. The living space was to the right. There were three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and their doors were on the other side of the living space from me. The guys and I usually played Rock, Paper, Scissors for whoever had to sleep on the couch, but things were a little cozier now that Emery was staying there with us.

I heard Andrew talking on the phone with Benjamin on the back porch, so I checked the bedrooms until I found the one Emery was in. She was passed out in the queen-sized bed, dark blue sheets draped over her torso. It looked like she was wearing one of Andrew’s white undershirts.

My eyebrows lifted out of curiosity. I supposed it wouldn’t be comfortable for her to sleep in her dress, which was draped over the dresser to the right of the bed. I lingered near her bedside, watching the gentle rise and fall of her body as she laid on her side facing me.
