Two days later I was in the grocery store picking up some shit Shelly said she needed and someone came up behind me and tapped me on the shoulder.
I knew who she was immediately from the description Craig had given. She did look like Shelly. I didn’t know what to say to this woman, wasn’t sure if she still believed that I’d murdered her son.
