I still had two more months of waiting, but that moment was burned into my brain. When the time finally came, I wouldn’t forget to give her the spanking she deserved for showing off what belonged to me. I would have excused it if I hadn’t seen the sultry glance she sent my way, along with the pretty blush that stole across her cheeks. Samantha had been taunting me, and when I finally had her in my bed, her ass would be as red as her dress in punishment.

I licked my lips as images of her white ass cheeks up in the air, with a pretty red handprint on each one, while I cupped her round hips and spilled inside her unprotected womb.

The thought made my already hard cock twitch, and I had to curl my hands into fists so I didn’t do anything rash. Like grab Samantha and take her to the nearest corner where I could tease her until she promised never to wear that dress again, then fuck her until she screamed my name.

I wasn’t sure if I had been saved or further tortured when her parents had walked in behind her. Shifting to my left, I’d moved to stand behind a chair, hiding the bulge in my trousers.

“Noah!” Blair exclaimed. “Congratulations.”

“Thank you,” I said graciously, trying not to growl in Samantha’s direction.

Justice was glaring at his daughter—clearly no happier about Samantha’s dress than I was, which made me like him even more—but his arm around his wife tightened when she went to walk toward me.

“Congratulations,” he grumbled. Then he looked down at Blair and muttered, “Can we go now, bunny?”

Blair giggled and shook her head. “Nope. You promised me dinner and dancing.”

When she smiled, it seemed oddly familiar. I glanced between her and her daughter, and I realized that Samantha was Blair’s doppelgänger. They looked more alike than Rhett and me, and we were twins.

“Will you at least put my jacket on?” Justice begged his daughter.

Samantha laughed and ignored him, turning to look at me instead. “Mom and I have a little boy at the K-Corp day care that has myelomeningocele. They just moved here because of your research foundation and the clinical trials they’re conducting. I think it’s awesome that you’re furthering the research in this area.”

Myelomeningocele was the most severe type of spina bifida that often caused a multitude of side effects. After working with a neurosurgeon on a couple of kids with tethered spines, as well as heart problems, I’d decided to create a new research foundation that would study the origins of the condition, possible prevention, and non-invasive treatments. Tonight was a fundraiser, although it was more to garner awareness than money.

“Text me his name, and I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for him so I can say hello the next time he’s there for treatment.”

Samantha and Blair both melted a little, making me chuckle.

“Noah,” Carlos called from a few feet away. “You’re up.”

I grimaced and glanced at the stage. “I hate this part. But no one ever listens to me when I tell them there will be no speeches at the next event.”

Samantha giggled, and her cleavage jigged enticingly, then she stepped close and put a hand on my arm, searing my skin through the jacket and shirt of my tux. “Good luck. I know you’ll do great.”

She bit her lip, and I narrowed my eyes in warning. “You’re playing with fire, baby doll,” I murmured just loud enough that she was the only one who could hear me.

That fire was raging now as I strode across the ballroom, but it was fueled by jealousy and possessiveness. I was going to kill that kid and make sure every other boy or man who looked at her knew those luscious curves belonged to me.

Samantha brushed his hand away and shot him a dirty look, but it didn’t soothe the beast inside me that was clawing to the surface. Then she spotted me, and her eyes went wide as I barreled toward her. Before I reached her, a large body stepped into my line of vision. I almost knocked them out of the way until I realized it was Justice. Seeing her father reminded me of my precarious position. I couldn’t claim her yet. It was too soon. Fucking hell!

My hands balled into fists, and I clenched them so hard the nails bit into my skin. The need to beat the shit out of the little punk was riding me hard, but it would blow up in my face when everyone realized I was filled with jealous rage.

Justice leaned down and got into the kid’s face. “If you value your limbs, you will run, not walk, away and never, ever come near my daughter again. Because if I see you touching her again, I don’t care why. You will live out the rest of your days without arms, legs, or balls. Is that clear?” His tone left absolutely no doubt that he was serious, and the boy gulped hard before scurrying off with his tail tucked between his legs.
