Stomping up the stairs made me feel better but I was still pissed by the time I got to my apartment. I hated that I’d frozen at the ridiculous question and they’d made me feel stupid. I’d been expecting to have to introduce myself, so I’d planned what I would say.

I’d practiced over and over in my head.

I’d made sure it sounded like I was sharing without actually sharing.

I’d remembered what I was going to say my hobbies were if anyone asked.

I just hadn’t picked out what kind of dog I would be.

Why was that a question?

Trying to decide if I was going to text Daddy about how stupid it was while I was making dinner or afterward, I let myself into the apartment and froze as a weird sound caught my attention.

What was that?

At first I thought someone was slapping the walls like they were pissed, but my dick pulled a Pavlov’s dog and started getting hard.

Oops.

Spanking time.

Shit.

Giving my dick a firm mental warning that he was not to get hard just because someone else was getting spanked, I did my best to ignore the sound and took a deep breath.

Okay, I could do this.

I was a good grown-up when I had to be one.

What was the first thing I needed to do?

Oh, figure out if I stayed or if I left.

Yes, that was a good place to start and I inched back toward the door. My feet seemed to have decided that the answer was leaving, so I let them have their way. I might’ve had my own room and it might’ve technically been my apartment, but someone obviously hadn’t realized how that sound would carry.

My dick liked the moaning sound that echoed through the apartment too.

Wait.

He didn’t like girls.

Oh, that wasn’t a girl.

Yep, time to leave.

Escaping was easy and I even remembered to relock the door, but that was where my brain stopped working.

What was I supposed to do?

Daddy.

Yes, that was a Daddy question.

Hurrying down the stairs, I got back in my car and told my heart to stop pounding. It seemed to think we were being chased by monsters and not just being attacked by nervous embarrassment.

“You’re smart and you’re an adult.” Taking a deep breath didn’t really help, so I pulled out my phone to find an adultier adult.

Daddy.

“Hello, sunshine. Do you need help picking out dinner?” Daddy’s smiley voice made my heart finally stop pounding.

“No, but that would’ve probably been why I called you in about twenty minutes if things hadn’t gone so weird.” Did that make any sense? His chuckle said no. “Okay, I didn’t do anything wrong.”

That made the happy sounds stop, but the way he had to take a deep breath said he was trying not to giggle. After a few seconds, his tone was very Daddy. “I’m glad you were behaving yourself, but I think you need to give me a bit more information.”

“Yes. I do.” It was my turn to breathe deeply. “Okay, first, I’m in my car and no one can hear me, so I’m not being rude either.”

Yes, just telling Daddy didn’t count because he was my person.

“I’m glad you’re thinking clearly enough to remember how important privacy is. But how about you take another deep breath with me this time?” Daddy made a big inhale sound and I found myself doing it too. When we exhaled, he made a pleased sound. “Good boy. Now, tell me what happened.”

Daddy would fix it.

“I’m going to complain about stupid activities that waste class time later, but for now, I’m going to start when I got to my apartment a few minutes ago.” That got a laugh from Daddy, but he was right, it had been ridiculous enough to find it funny.

“So I unlocked the door and I let myself in and then I heard a sound. I thought my roommate had hit the wall or that a sound was coming from the neighbors because these walls are very thin, Daddy, but then there was another sound and I realized it was a spanking sound, Daddy.” I didn’t think I needed to point out that it made me hard because he probably realized that.

Yep, he laughed.

“But, Daddy, then my roommate moaned. He moaned.” Daddy made a humming, thinky sound and that made me sigh. “I went back to my car to give them privacy. But now what? How do I—? I mean, what do I—?”

Eventually I’d get a sentence out, but Daddy was smart and filled in the gaps.

“Those are very good questions.” Daddy’s calm tone made me feel better, but I really liked that he understood how confusing this was. “This is going to serve as a good reminder for us that sounds carry further than we think.”

Oh yes.

“No spankings in my apartment, Daddy.” I wasn’t going to forget that. “That’s sad but it’s a necessary rule.”
