Hmm. He hadn’t thought about Emme. He supposed Markovich and Reyes would tell her the truth.
“It’s all over, baby girl. Go to sleep now. It’s late. You’ll need two naps tomorrow.”
“Daddy, I don’t like naps.”
“Tough. Daddy is in charge.”
“Can we ask one question?” Brody said quietly.
“What is it?”
“What’s your real name?” Autumn asked.
He let out a sigh. “My name doesn’t matter. It isn’t who I am now. All they ever called me at the orphanage was boy. My name is Daddy, it’s Papa, it’s Sir and the Fox.”
“You’ll always be Daddy,” Autumn told him.
“And to me you’re my Papa, my Sir,” Brody added.
“And the two of you are my everything.”
45
“Daddy, you brought us to an arcade for Brody-bear’s birthday?” Autumn tugged at the Fox’s hand, looking around in wonder at all the bright lights and machines. She couldn’t even remember going to an arcade before. Perhaps before her parents died.
“Should we be in here? It looks like it’s closed.” Brody moved up to her other side, fiddling with his glasses nervously, but she could see the excitement in his face. This was right up his alley.
“I rented the whole arcade for the rest of the night. We just have to be out before they open in the morning,” the Fox explained.
They both turned to gape at him.
“We get to play here all night?” she asked.
The Fox nodded.
“You hired it out? For us?” Brody whispered, his eyes shining.
“Happy birthday, Pup.”
“I . . . I don’t know what to say,” Brody replied. “Nobody has ever done anything like this for me before. I mean, I had parties. But they were small things as we didn’t have much money growing up. This is . . . awesome.”
She wrapped her arms around Brody, squeezing tight. She was so happy for him. The Fox had given him the best birthday present. Which was kind of surprising, because being thoughtful didn’t always come easily to him.
But he was getting a lot better. He was growing and changing. They all were.
“Come here,” the Fox said in a low voice, crooking a finger at Brody. He drew the smaller man against him, then tilted his face back with his hand on his chin, kissing him.
Oh, Lord.
Nothing made her hotter than watching the two of them together. Her pussy pulsed and she pressed her legs together.
Both men separated, then glanced over at her.
“What are you doing over there, Bunny? Come here.” The Fox held out his hand and she stepped forward, taking hold.
“I was just watching.”
“Just watching, hmm?” He pulled her between them.
Ooh. Her favorite place to be.
“Kiss!” she said demandingly to the Fox.
“Where are your manners?” the Fox asked.
How. Rude.
She had manners. But sometimes her Little didn’t.
“A little girl should say please,” the Fox drawled. “Perhaps we should start an incentive plan.”
Incentives? She could get behind that.
“You spoil her,” Brody said.
“Hey, you get spoiled too!” she protested. “He rented a whole arcade for your birthday.”
“Yes, but if someone doesn’t start using her manners, she might be spending some of her play time in the corner,” the Fox said.
She looked at the Fox in horror. “I don’t want to spend time in the corner, please, Daddy.”
“Then behave yourself.”
“I thought you said I was getting an incentive plan.”
“So, I did. Every time you use your manners, you get a treat.”
Okie-dokie. She could get behind that.
“I like treats,” she said. “I’m sorry, Daddy! Kiss, please.”
“That’s better.” The Fox gave her a heated kiss.
Then she turned and Brody gave her something softer, but no less hot.
She loved this man so much. Loved both of them.
Three weeks had passed since the showdown with Pavel and Galina. And the Fox had tried to pull back in on himself. She got it. Facing old demons could be hard. Especially when he’d been taught by his mentor to suppress his emotions. But with Brody and her help, they were bringing him back out.
Everything would be all right with time and love.
And some spankings thrown in. He was really getting behind those. Her butt still remembered the spanking she’d gotten for sneaking out of bed this afternoon when she was supposed to be napping.
Ouch.
Brody had been in contact with his family and Ink quite a bit. He’d told his family that he’d had some things to work out, but she knew that he’d have to see them soon. Ink was trying to make it so he could mostly work from the den since the Fox wasn’t happy at the idea of him leaving to go to work.
“All the two of you need to do is have fun. Let me do the worrying.”
Brody nodded, looking happier.
“How do we play?” she asked, clapping her hands as she bounced up and down. She was wearing a white dress with cherries around the hem and a red belt to cinch it in. Her shoes had cherries on them and her hair was tied back with a large red ribbon.
