“Hmph!” I rolled my eyes and tried getting off his lap.

“Where’re you going?”

“I have class even if you don’t.”

“We’re not going to class.” Before I could argue, he had me flat on my back, and his hands were tearing at my clothes. Really? I don’t know what got into me, but I bit him. He stopped and looked down at me in surprise. The kiss that followed wasn’t too shabby, and then he bit my lip, the fiend.

I don’t know how we ended up wrestling on his bed or even noticed him get undressed, but the next thing I knew, he was inside me, and we were both panting to catch our next breath. “Now, where are you going?” This…

He didn’t give me a chance to answer, or maybe he wasn’t expecting one because his lips covered mine, and he started moving inside me.

My poor brain was so confused as my body took over, totally forgetting that he’d just spanked me like a child, and we shouldn’t like that. My brain was screaming, what the hell, make him pay, but my traitorous body moved right along with his.

CODY

The little shit is too damn spoilt for her own good. One little spanking that doesn’t add up to much because, of course, I didn’t smack her that hard, and I’m feeling guilty as hell hours later. She’s been milking that shit all day, and the memory of her tear-stained face has me giving in like a sap.

I have my boys on the lookout, but for some reason, Jeff had gone into hiding, which only makes the situation worse. The whole thing stank of a setup, and had I not known her as well as I do, she’d have had a hard time explaining herself to me. As it is, half the damn campus thinks she’s cheating on me, which only pisses me off more.

It took a while, but after the dust cleared and I could think straight again, some things became clearer, like the fact that it was Susie’s friend who’d shown the picture to me before everyone else received it and the fact that he was staring at the camera when the picture was taken.

And there was something else about the image that kept pulling at me, but no matter how hard or how long I stared at it, I couldn’t figure out what it was. “Babe, I have practice in about an hour.”

“I know, but I have to go to the new place and wait for the furniture to be delivered.”

“I thought that was tomorrow.”

“Some of it, yes, but our bed is coming today.” She wiggled her brows at me and got down off my lap, where she’s been sitting all afternoon. For someone who’s never been spanked before, as she reminded me about ten times, she sure knows how to milk it. I’d spent the last few hours babying her and catering to her every need. All for about five smacks to her ass that didn’t even hurt my hand.

I wanted to argue but couldn’t come up with a good enough reason. “Jess and Alexis going to be there?”

“They’re not moving in until this weekend, remember?” I forgot they were giving us a few days alone first, though the place was built in a way that our room was the only one upstairs while theirs were on the first floor on the other side of the apartment.

The place looks more like a family dwelling than a college student’s housing if you ask me, with separate everything on each floor, which I guess Lisa had fought for and won. I should probably feel like a kept man, but what the hell? I imagine a lot of our life is going to be taken over by her relatives in the future, and I plan to choose my battles wisely moving forward.

If they want to put us up in a ritzy apartment just a few minutes from campus on their dime, I’m not simple-minded enough to refuse, especially when it’s something my girl wants in the first place. And quite frankly, I can’t give her this shit right now anyway, so why not let them continue?

I wasn’t kidding when I said it would take me fifty years in the pros to make the kind of money that would keep her in the lifestyle she’s accustomed to. I got a glance at the cost of the apartment that her family had bought, not rented, and the shit is about what a first-year rookie signs for these days.

I asked her why her family would buy and not rent since they’re not planning to stay there when they visit, and she looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. But she’s not like them, not even a little bit; my ass.

“I’m not sure about you being there alone.”
