Best. Compliment. Ever.

With arms wrapped around me and nearly every inch of him pressed to me, yet still managing not to crush me, he starts to move, his mouth hanging open, breaths more sound than actual air.

“Missed this, too,” he confesses, his mouth finding mine as his hips swivel, some part of him hitting the most sensitive parts of me.

“Kit,” I say, his name a warning of what’s happening to me.

“Yeah, baby. Me too.”

My jaw hangs open, probably a bad look for something so incredible, but he doesn’t seem to mind when my core clamps down on him rhythmically.

“That’s my girl,” he praises. “Fuck, Jules. That feels amazing.”

He holds me just a little tighter for the briefest of seconds as if he no longer has control of his own body, and then I feel it, the pulses of his own orgasm as he dives off the cliff.

Chapter 37

Kit

I don’t know that a happier man has ever existed.

As I grin and roll toward Jules, asleep in my bed, I know it for certain.

Things are better than I could’ve ever expected.

She loves me.

She wants all of my babies.

She wants to marry me.

God, I hope she doesn’t have a long timeline planned for that last one because I’d head to the courthouse today if she were willing.

She grunts, trying to inch away when I cup one full breast in my hand.

“No,” she grumbles, trying to pull away from me.

And the crazy thing is, I don’t have those doubts running through my head I’ve always had in the past. I’m not wondering if she’s moments from getting up and walking out.

“Baby,” I whisper, my lips against the nape of her neck. I press a kiss there, my fingers working to pinch her nipple.

The moan it elicits goes straight to my dick.

“I’m exhausted. You didn’t let me sleep all night,” she mumbles, her complaints spoken into her pillow.

“Your body isn’t getting the memo,” I say when her legs spread as I trail my fingers down her belly to her slick center. “So fucking wet.”

“That’s cum,” she says with a sound that’s half chuckle half hiss.

“Mmm.” I press slick fingers to her clit, knowing just how many times we went after each other last night.

We were both insatiable, and that hasn’t changed for me after a three hour nap. I don’t know that I’ll ever get enough of her.

She moans, a different sound from last night, when I press two fingers into her.

“Sore?” I ask, pulling away when she nods.

I pull my hand back, not willing to cause her pain. She catches my palm, tangling her fingers with mine before I can get too far away.

“How does your mouth feel?”

She huffs a laugh, turning over in the bed so she can swat at my chest. “You’re terrible.”

“And you’re rolling your hips and rubbing your clit on my thigh,” I say, raising an eyebrow at her.

She buries her face in my throat, chuckling at being called out.

“Will it ever get boring?”

“God, I hope not,” I tell her.

She lifts her head, resting her chin on her hands directly over my heart.

“I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

I smile down at her before pressing a soft kiss to her lips.

“I want that, too,” I tell her. “And I don’t want to waste a single second making those big decisions.”

“We’re going to have this conversation right now?”

I give her a wicked smile, my head shaking. “It’s not a conversation. You’re going to be a good girl and marry me.”

“When?” she asks without hesitation.

“Today,” I tell her.

She shakes her head. “Today is too soon.”

“It’s not too—”

She silences me with a kiss. “I have to make plans for that. How about two weeks?”

A smile spreads the width of my face. “A week and a half.”

She shakes her head, but nods in agreement.

“But today we’re going to pack up your house so you can move in here.”

Her eyes narrow. “You can move in with me.”

I shake my head, “You’ll move in here, and before you argue remember that you’re sore. You know what happens when that pretty little mouth of yours gets bratty.”

She bites the corner of her lower lip as if trying to figure out if those results will be worth it.

“I like my house.”

“Your guest bathroom has that weird smell.”

She chuckles, her nose scrunching up. “I’ve tried everything to get it out.”

“This building has great security, and all the guys are here. I need my family to be safe.”

“Okay.”

“Okay?” I ask, shocked that she’s not putting up more of an argument.

She grins.

“What’s that look?”

She shakes her head. “No look. I’m just happy. You’re sure about all of this?”

“Jules,” I cup her chin, lifting my head from my pillow to press my lips to hers. “I would’ve gone down this path with you when I was still in high school.”
