Chapter 6

A Peculiar Creature

Azar

In the bed, Fatou slept next to me.

I’d drained her, needing her passed out so that I could have time to think.

Her orgasm was the best one that I had ever tasted in all my 150 years.

Fatou. Fatou.

I closed my eyes and felt the flavor of her orgasm in my mouth. Silently, I battled with trying to describe it in my mind. The flavor was tart, yet sweet. It was limes dripping with honey. Succulent apricots swirled and floating on a pool of expensive melted chocolates mixed with angel’s blood—red and satiny.

How can she taste that way?

When she came, that flavor filled my mouth, beat against my heart, drummed through my cock, and bathed every part of my being.

It was a taste worth dying for.

No human could do that to me. They were a piece of candy next to Fatou. No other creature could have this effect on me. I’d fucked and sampled every species in this world, twice over.

She’s different. But how?

I opened my eyes.

Yet, my mind played out those last moments of her face twisting in ecstasy and her body riding waves of passion.

I need more.

Where once my will to live had been withering, now I desperately yearned to see what journey I could embark on with her. She left me unsettled and in this sense of frenzied pleasure.

But don’t forget. She’s smart and dangerous.

Only Satan knew how many needles she had hidden around this hotel.

I decided to worry about that later as I studied my sweet fairy.

Her eyes were closed, but I could hear her breathing. Her body was naked, slender and incredibly soft. Yet, I knew she could fight. There was power in her kicks and punches. My body still had the memories.

And now my blood has made her more powerful. We’ll see if that bites me in the ass later.

I perused her more.

She had a pattern of black lines tattooed along one arm and on one leg.

Is this due to her Yumboe tribe or something else?

The lines were delicate and elegant. They were rendered in a fine ink, as though applied by hand, and the shadows they created had a subtle, velvety softness. Each line arced and swirled in fine strokes.

I touched them.

The lines heated.

She stirred in my hold.

These aren’t tattoos at all.

She was an absolute mystery. A fairy with venomous fangs and sensitive black lines staining her brown skin.

I tried to make sense of this fascinating puzzle.

Her husband was a vampire. They had a daughter which means he’d feasted on her. Vampires couldn’t fuck without spilling blood.

I frowned, not liking the idea of some evil vampire’s fangs piercing her soft flesh.

Did he turn her somehow?

I inhaled her soft flesh.

No. There’s no trace of vampirism within her.

I sniffed at her again.

But, she doesn’t smell like a fairy either.

I ran my fingers through her silver dreadlocks, completely fascinated by the color and softness.

I’d seen Yumboe tribes before. Some of them could have brown, black, or even blood-red hair. Never had I witnessed one with bright silvery strands.

Earlier, she said she was born with it.

Then, is she a pureblood Yumboe or something else?

Her eyes fluttered.

I paused and watched her.

Why is she waking up? She should still be out.

A soft groan left her.

My cock jerked against my thigh.

Slowly, she opened her eyes and gazed up at me.

My heart softened, but I wouldn’t let it show on my face.

She can’t know the affect she’s having on me.

Her voice came out low. “How long did I sleep?”

“Not long enough.”

She moved her view to the window. Moonlight seeped through. “We should go after the Boto Brothers—”

“We don't have their location yet.”

“Adae has—”

“Nothing. The Boto Brothers will put out fake information that are all traps. Trust me. I used to hunt with them.”

“Then, how will we get their location?”

“I have a contact here, but we won't be able to go there until night time.”

“Once we get the contact then we'll—”

“Wait until tomorrow during daylight.” I shook my head. “Being that you’re a skilled, legendary hunter, I would think you knew that hunting incubi during the day is much better.”

“Because you all are weak at that time?”

“As weak as our kind can be.”

“I can never find incubi during the day.”

I nodded. “Because you can’t smell them.”

“Yes.” Inhaling, she closed her eyes. “But for some reason I can smell you right now.”

“Because my magic has been inside of you.”

She opened those eyes. “Would that happen with any incubus demon that tastes me.”

I sneered. “No other incubi will be tasting you.”

“It was just a curious question.”

I glared. “Still, my answer remains the same.”

“O-kay.” She scanned the space and caught the bedroom’s opened door. Shock covered her face. She looked back at me. “You cleaned up the suite?”

“My magic did.”

“How?”

“Long ago, I learned a few cleansing spells from a witch.”

She blinked. “I bet you taught her some things too.”
