“I never win!” Daisy cheered and stood to do a celebration dance.

Jordi spotted her underwear and giggled. Daisy’s had small yellow flowers clumped on the fabric. Without thinking, she blurted, “Does everyone’s Daddy buy them panties that match their nicknames?”

Daisy lifted her skirt to look and giggled. “I forgot. Daddy did dress me in my daisy undies.”

“I’ve got kittens,” CC piped up.

Jordi clapped her hands. “That matches your cat café! Who else?”

Rose slowly raised her hand and stood to inch her ruffled shorts down. “My Daddy calls me Rosebud. He just found these. They’re tiny rosebuds. I love them so much,” she shared, rubbing the soft material.

“We’re all showing our panties?” a voice asked from the doorway. When everyone turned to see Ellie, she handed off a tray of cupcakes to her Daddy before tugging her dress up to reveal a pair of ruffled bloomers with cupcakes all over them.

“Your Daddy found cupcake underwear for you?” Rose asked as she admired the fun fabric.

“I did. It took finding a specialist who created them for us. Totally worth it,” Garrett, Ellie’s Daddy reported.

“They have people who make cute things like that, special for Littles?” Jordi asked in amazement.

“Of course!” Ellie assured her. “Just like I make cupcakes for different tastes and you remodel places to make them perfect. Speaking of… I brought an assortment of cupcakes for everyone. Ready for snack time?”

Cheers filled the air, and the Littles hurriedly put away the finished game so they could eat their treats without getting crumbs on the colored board. Garrett set the platter down on the table and handed out small paper plates and napkins, decorated with the Little Cakes logo.

“Dig in, Littles,” he urged.

Everyone took their favorites. Jordi waited until all the Littles had their choice before she snagged the Caramel Drizzle. Not wanting to leave her Daddy without a cupcake, she called his name.

“Daddy?”

Immediately all the men turned to look at her. The entire group burst into laughter. Daddy was a very popular name.

“Daddy Callen,” she amended. “Want to split a cupcake with me?”

“How sweet of you, Sunshine. How about if I take a bite?” he asked, standing behind her.

“Okay. Here,” Jordi agreed, raising it into the air for him.

Callen took a big bite and chewed, humming his delight. When Jordi giggled, he asked, “What? Do I have frosting on my nose?”

“Yes, Daddy. And caramel sauce.”

Leaning down, he asked, “Can you help a Daddy out? Kiss that sweetness away.”

Between snickers, Jordi kissed his nose and lips repeatedly to make sure he was perfectly clear of any traces of frosting and drizzle. “All done!”

“Thank you, Sunshine.” He handed her back the cupcake. “I appreciate you sharing your treat and helping make sure the other Daddies don’t laugh at me.”

“I’ve got your back, Daddy,” she promised and realized that she did. Jordi took a bite of her cupcake to give herself time to think about how much she cared for Callen. He was like the caramel drizzle on the cupcake. Her life was good, but he added the extra touch that made her enjoy every day to the fullest.

Callen smoothed a hand over her hair before leaning back down to whisper in her ear, “Are you okay, Sunshine?”

“Better than okay. I love you, Daddy.”

“Put the cupcake down, Sunshine,” he instructed.

Slowly, Jordi set it on the plate in front of her. Had she ruined everything? As soon as she lifted her hand away, he scooped her up in his arms and excused them from the group. Jordi clung to him as he walked out of the daycare to a quiet spot.

“Say that again,” he demanded.

“I—I love you,” she whispered.

“Sweet, adorable Little. I’ll need you to repeat that a million more times—but when we’re alone so I can do this.”

Callen captured her lips and kissed her over and over until she lost track of where they were and just focused on her Daddy. When he finally lifted his head, Callen told her, “I love you, too, Jordi Cross.”

That, of course, triggered her pressing kisses to his lips. By the time Callen returned Jordi to her seat to finish her cupcake, the others had already thrown away their wrappers. Jordi pressed her fingers to her lips, hoping to hide her kiss-swollen mouth.

“K-I-S-S-I-N-G!” several littles chanted, teasing her good-naturedly.

“My cupcakes are so delicious they spark spontaneous kissing!” Ellie crowed, raising her arms over her head in a V of victory.

“Especially the Caramel Drizzle,” Jordi agreed with a smile.

“Red Velvet!” Riley chimed in.

“Santa’s Kiss!” Rose said, making kissy noises.

“Pumpkin Spice,” CC cheered.

All Littles named their favorites except Sue. When everyone looked at her, she pointed out, “Black Forest puts the cherry on top!” Everyone laughed at her finishing touch.

Jordi polished off the last bites of her cupcake as she let their chatter drift around her. She felt like she was floating above her chair. My Daddy loves me and I love him.
