I fucking love this.

I love him.

“Come on,” I murmur. “Let’s get showered. If we show up late to the B&B for dinner, your sister might not ever let me hear the end of it.”

He cries out when I stand up with him in my arms, my dick still impaling him. His arms wrap around my neck, clinging to me. I’d never let him fall, though. Never.

We make it to his office before he stops me.

“Wait. Your present is in there.”

He pushes the door open, and I walk inside. His art shit is everywhere. I love that he’s on Christmas break for school and can spend all his time creating. Everywhere there are canvases and drawings. There’s something familiar about them.

Red lips on one.

Blue eyes on another.

Abs and a gray sheet covering an obvious erection.

Yellow BFB PD emblazoned across a wide-shouldered back.

“These are me,” I marvel. “Wow.”

“You inspire me.” He drags my attention back to him by clutching my jaw and forcing me to look at him. “You make me happy, Atlas Larson.”

A crooked grin steals across my face. “And you make me happier, Callan Kincaid.”

The next kiss we share quickly turns dirty.

We’ll be late for dinner, and I don’t even give a fuck.

All that matters is Callan.

That’s all that will ever matter.

Callan

March

The house looks good, but this is our first official time to host anything. I’m a nervous wreck. Atlas is cool as a damn cucumber sitting on our chaise, stroking Sparkles like he doesn’t have a care in the world.

“What if they don’t like the food?” My stomach twists painfully. “Oh, God. I’m going to be sick.”

“Calm down, sweetheart. It’s just friends and family. They’ll love everything you’ve done.”

I try to breathe normally. Yesterday I spent all day cleaning the house and decorating for Jax and Dante’s wedding shower. Since I’m the best man on Dante’s side, I wanted to do this for them. Zak and Cato are in charge of the bachelor’s party, which will basically consist of us meeting up at Blur for a private party, where they still won’t let us drink because we’re underage. The joys of being either related to the sheriff or fucking one of his officers.

“The cupcakes turned out great. Everything smells good. You need to stop worrying,” Atlas says with a smile. “It’ll be perfect. Besides, it’s the thought that counts.”

I nod, still not convinced, and make my way back to the dining room where the table is decorated with more food than we could possibly ever eat. The spread kind of looks like art. I color-coded everything. It’s a rainbow of yum.

The floorboards creak, and then Atlas’s strong arms wrap around me. He nuzzles the side of my neck, inhaling me. In his arms, it’s easy to relax. For a few minutes, we remain just like that. I allow his calmness to wash over me.

The last few months have been incredible for us. Because of Jeff, the assholes who were harassing us haven’t bothered us again. Everything has been quiet. Nice. Now that I don’t have people messing with me, I’ve allowed myself to fall in love with Brigs Ferry Bay. There are far more good people here than bad. It’s charming and picturesque. I have friends and family and the best boyfriend. I’m happy. For once, I don’t want to leave.

I want to stay.

“We can’t steal from their day, but I need you to hear something and hold it tight inside your heart until you’re ready.”

My body tenses at his words. “What?”

His left hand covers mine, threading our fingers together. “I want to make you mine.”

“I am yours.”

“In the forever kind of way,” he murmurs. “I know you’re young and have your whole life ahead of you—”

“Yes.”

He nips at my earlobe. “I didn’t ask anything yet.”

“I don’t care. I want that. I want everything with you.”

“Well, all right then.”

“All right then.”

“That was easy.” He presses his lips to the side of my neck. “So easy.”

“I’ll make things difficult for you in the bedroom later,” I promise. “You might have to get your handcuffs out. Get me to behave for you.”

His dick presses into my ass, and if I didn’t have about thirty people coming over in the next fifteen minutes, I’d drag him back to our room to get started.

The doorbell rings, reminding me that our kinky fun will have to wait.

One after the other, the guests begin arriving. Everyone is in awe of the party I’ve planned. Atlas shoots me the occasional “I told you so” wink. I’m pleased, especially when Kian—the king of charcuterie—compliments me on my cheese board. Dante and Jax are all smiles, two men so completely in love and about to embark on the rest of their lives as a married couple.

Soon, that’ll be Atlas and me.

After we eat and play a few games, everyone settles to watch Jax and Dante open their presents. It’s cute how they share smirks between each other. I’m glad my brother found someone who makes him happy.
