No hopping with a bunny salad or bunny desserts.

I was amazing.

And Daddy was smart because he called me as soon as he got home. “Is my little bunny feeling mischievous?”

I almost managed not to giggle but I didn’t think he heard. “You said I was your cute bunny, Daddy.”

That wasn’t a lie.

I was so smart.

Daddy coughed but I could hear he wanted to laugh. “You wouldn’t happen to know why all the notifications on my phone seem to be dragon roars, do you?”

“Dinosaurs can be big or small.” That wasn’t a lie either. “Did you know there were tiny dinosaurs, Daddy?”

Daddy’s sigh made me want to giggle but I covered it up better that time. “Yes, I think I heard about that.”

“Do you think there could be tiny dragons too or just big ones?” I wasn’t sure. “Would big dragons eat little dragons? That doesn’t sound very nice. Would little dragons roar too?”

Oops.

“Speaking of roars.” Daddy was back to trying not to laugh. “My phone is making very interesting noises. All the notifications are very interesting, in fact.”

“Probably not all, Daddy.” His bank had better security than he did, so I hadn’t bothered with that one. “But I’m your cute bunny, Daddy. You said so.”

“That damned picture.” Daddy sounded so surprised I had to cover my mouth so the giggles didn’t escape. “How did you do that?”

“I’m just a bunny. I showed you my ears and everything, Daddy.” Not a lie either.

Austin was going to be so proud of me.

Daddy finally chuckled and I knew he’d have a big, big smile on his face. “What else are you doing besides being a funny bunny?”

That made me laugh so hard I had to put my salad down so I didn’t drop it. “That rhymes, Daddy.”

Now he was laughing too. “I’m amazing.”

Daddy was wonderful.

When I stopped giggling, I picked up my bowl again. “Funny bunny is having bunny salad. It’s got fruit.”

Still laughing a tiny bit, Daddy took a deep breath. “I’m a little afraid to ask what’s in a bunny salad at this point, so I’ll ask about your day instead.”

Daddy was so nice.

But Daddy being so nice and asking about my day made me remember my day. “Um, Daddy?”

That made Daddy groan. “What did he do now?”

Daddy kept saying he couldn’t read my mind…but then he’d read my mind.

Maybe Daddies were told they had to hide that from their littles?

Everything else got hidden online about Daddies and littles, so that was probably why. It was easier to find people peeing on each other than it was to find Daddies. Austin had even found panties and naughty toys before I’d found the Daddies. But I’d kind of stopped looking for the Daddies when I’d found stuff that was too grown-up for a cute little bunny to have seen, so maybe I just should’ve looked harder?

No. I had to focus…and eat my salad.

“Well, I think Austin is protective again but I fixed it.” I’d been very brave. “So you don’t have to worry.”

Daddy groaned, so I ate more of my salad before it could melt.

“Thank you for fixing his…his overprotectiveness.” Sighing, Daddy got quiet for a second before he sounded like he was resting. “Okay, I’m sitting. Now I’m ready. What did he do?”

Daddy was brave too…and smart.

Sitting was always a good idea when we had to talk about Austin.

“He wanted to make sure you were a very safe person for me, but I told my work friend that he didn’t need to make sure of anything like that, and he said he’d tell Austin no. He’s really brave too.” Well, he was just brave because he said he knew where too many bodies were buried for Austin to get too mad at him, but I wasn’t sure if it was real bodies or just naughty stuff Austin had done.

Daddy huffed and got silent for a while, distracting me from the dead bodies. “No cursing. No cursing.”

Giggling, I waited for Daddy to finish remembering he wasn’t supposed to curse. It didn’t take too long, so I knew he wasn’t big frustrated. “Thank you for making sure your work friend didn’t do another background check on me. A completely unnecessary one, I might add.”

Yep, Daddy was just a little frustrated because he hadn’t even threatened to talk to Austin and tell him he’d been naughty.

“You’re a very nice Daddy, Daddy. I told him that.” Eddie had believed me too. “I told him you’re nice and good to me, and I didn’t call you Daddy. You’re my somebody because he kind of knew you were special. But I was careful with your privacy, Daddy.”

Daddy let out a happy sigh that time. “You take very good care of me, funny bunny.”

“Thank you, Daddy.”

“But you know what?” Daddy sounded suspiciously happy.

“What?”

“I don’t think you’re eating a salad, funny bunny.”
