“Um…hello? Earth to Cam?” a female voice said from beside me, snapping me out of my Jude trance.

“Hey, Mel. How’s it going?” I gave her a hug, which she returned. “Sorry, I was spacing out.”

“Looking at the pretty boy.”

I grinned. “Yeah, something like that.”

Jude caught eyes with us then and walked over. “You guys need anything else?”

“You?” I teased, and he blushed.

“Be good, Boyfriend.”

Oh, I liked that. Apparently, he was going to use the name more often now.

“Oh wow,” Melinda said. “This is new.”

“I finally wore him down.”

“I put up a good fight,” Jude replied.

“Aren’t you guys the fucking cutest,” Linc said. “Well, not as cute as us, obvi!”

I shook my head and looked at Melinda again. “What are you doing tonight?”

“I’m meeting up with someone. You aren’t the only bi-guy in town who likes to have a little ménage fun.”

A glass dropped from Jude’s hand and shattered on the floor.

“Nooooo!” Linc said. “Jude, you naughty boy!”

“Eh, I don’t need threesomes anymore. I have my own sex beast,” Carter said.

“Jude didn’t have a threesome with Cam and Melinda,” Rush added, and we hadn’t, but it surprised me that he knew it.

“How do you know?” Jude asked him.

“Because I know you?” Rush replied.

And yeah…he did. I was uncharacteristically jealous of that.

“And I know you too.” Rush looked at me. “You’ve wanted him too much for too long to share him.”

Well, shit. That was nice. And he was right. Sure, I’d invited Jude home with us that night, but it would have been strange for me to see someone else touch him. I sure as shit didn’t want anyone’s hands on him now, and since Rush didn’t know when we were talking about, it made sense.

“Can we stop talking about my sex life now?” Jude asked.

Which we did. Jude cleaned up the broken glass and then had another round of business at the bar. We all laughed and drank, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off him. I never could when he was around.

Eventually, he got off work. He went to the back to clock out, and then I felt him beside me.

“Hey,” I whispered, leaning in and kissing him.

Jude put his arm around me. “Hey.”

“Get a room,” Ash teased.

“Fuck off.” I gave him the bird.

Linc was right. We were awesome. I hoped our group never changed.

“You wanna dance with me?” I cocked a brow at Jude, and he paused for a moment, then nodded. Taking his hand, I led him over to the dance floor. I pulled him up behind me and pushed my ass against his groin. His hands automatically went to my waist and held on as he moved against me.

“Mmm, I like this,” Jude said.

“We can do it naked too.”

“Yeah? We will. I…liked it the way we did it last time as well.”

Oh, Jude was going to be a hungry little bottom. How in the fuck did I get so lucky?

“We’ll do it again. We need to give you a little time first.”

Jude nodded, pressed his cock against me, and we danced. Through song after song we stayed out there. I’d never danced with him like this before, and I sure as shit didn’t want it to end anytime soon.

He moved like he felt alive, like he was confident, and hell, almost like he was putting on a show. When a few guys looked at us and made comments, I was nervous he would stop, but he didn’t. It just fueled him on more.

Eventually, we made it back to our crew.

“That was hot,” Carter said.

“Um…you’re aware that’s my brother, right?” Sawyer asked.

“Your hot brother and his even hotter boyfriend,” Carter replied, and Sawyer laughed.

“What am I going to do with you?” Sawyer leaned in and kissed him, obviously crazy about Carter.

“Can we go back to the part where you said Jude is hotter than me?” I teased.

“I think Linc and I are going to head out in a minute,” Rush said. “But while we’re all together, I wanted to see if you guys wanted to do something for Christmas like we did for Thanksgiving? Have the whole crew, families and all, out at our place?” He looked at Jude. “Mom called your dad to invite him. I was shocked he said yes.”

Well, I guessed that answered my question about Christmas. Jude wouldn’t go to Florida if his father was in Fever Falls.

“Sawyer and I are going to Florida,” I replied, disappointment heavy in my chest.

“I’m going with Sawyer,” Carter added.

Rush turned to Jude. “Oh shit. Were you going to go to Florida too? Maybe we can do something early, before Christmas or something? Mom just didn’t want your dad to be alone, and she assumed… Fuck, we shouldn’t have assumed.” There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that it had been a simple accident. Rush was used to holidays with Jude. Rush’s mom knew Jude’s dad. They were family, but again, that didn’t stop the disappointment from working through my veins, heavy like mud.
