He hands me the face scrubber while I’m relearning to breathe, and my eyes widen even more than they already were.

“Use it,” he instructs simply. “Make yourself feel good.”

I have to say it; I can’t help it. “Well, the cock’s a good start.”

Chase laughs, and the motion of it sends a thrill through one hundred percent of my body, the feeling amplified ten times at the root of our connection. My head falls back and my hand to the bed, and Chase reaches over to redirect the device to my clit.

Taking it momentarily to get it good and vibrating, he puts it back in my palm and then reiterates, “Make yourself feel good, Brooke. Chase your orgasm.”

I might need to be told twice, but I certainly don’t need to be told a third time. Doing as he suggests, I place the vibrating wonder at my clit and nearly scream at the instant and intense sensation.

“That’s it,” he coaches easily. “That’s my girl.”

Okay, then. Safe to say I’m into the whole praising thing.

Slowly, ever so slowly, he starts to move, in and out and in again until he’s seated to the hilt. I’d never have guessed I could fit the trunk of an elephant inside me, but I guess with the proper lubrication, many things are possible.

I push at the pulsing device in my hand, adding pressure to my clit and grinding my hips up and into both the device and Chase.

His breath is hot on my neck, and I want nothing more than to feel the sensation going down my throat. I reach up to push his chin back, and he relents immediately. I put my lips on his, sucking in everything I can get of him. I’m hoping to make it all the way to his soul, but we shall see.

Over and over and over again, we rock together in perfect rhythm, the squeaking of the bed singing a song for all around to hear.

I grab at his hair as the peak of my climax overwhelms me, and he sends a growl so savage down my throat I almost forget how to function.

Chase Dawson and Brooke Baker together.

Let me tell you something…it’s worthy of a book and then some.

Chase

The Albuquerque RV camp is still quiet, and Brooke is still sleeping, but my scheming and I are both alive and well this early morning.

Not only do I have to use this time to get through the reworked Accidental Attachment chapters Brooke has sent me because of our looming deadline, but thanks to my brilliant idea to surprise her with a party in Nashville at the ultimate Dolly-inspired rooftop bar, White Limozeen, Mo’s and my text messages are burning the candle at both ends.

I don’t think my sister has been awake this early in ages. As a restaurant owner, being a night owl is more her style.

Me: Did her family give a final head count?

Mo: Reluctantly, her sister Sam says both her mom and dad are coming along with her. I’m going to watch the boys so she can have the flight and party to herself.

Me: Wow. That’s really nice of you, Mo. I’m impressed.

Mo: Sam’s had it rough. And Vinny and I love the chance to be goofy with people who appreciate it.

Me: Children?

Mo: Exactly.

Me: So, what else needs to be done? I can try to make some calls myself, but I don’t know that I’m going to get much accomplished since we’re both going to be trapped in the bus all day long driving.

Mo: Don’t start worrying about taking some of the burden now. We’re in the home stretch, bro. I’ve got this. Assuming, that is, that the manuscript is going to be in my inbox soon.

I roll my eyes, but to be honest, she’s earned it. Because of my close quarters with Brooke, Mo has made all the arrangements with the hotel and bar, picked the catering and drink menu, arranged for decorations and invites, helped get people who needed travel arrangements set, and on top of all that, is watching Brooke’s nephews for the night so her sister can come without having to worry about being a mom. I feel a little badly that Mo’s not getting to come to the party herself, but I’ll make it up to her.

If things keep going between Brooke and me like they are now, I might even be able to give her the ultimate sister-in-law.

Okay, Chase, now you’re getting ahead of yourself.

I know, I know. We’ve only slept together twice, and this is all so new and there are so many unknowns…but I really, really like her. Heading home like this is a stark realization that pretty soon, I’m not going to be with her all day, every day. Pretty soon, she’s going to go back to her apartment and routine, and I’m going to go back to mine.
