The lovely Elaina Thomas, now Blackstar, was the first Earth woman to participate in an experiment to determine biocompatibility between the two planets, and he’d been there at one of the early meetings to test the translation device he’d installed himself. He liked the look of her. Small, under six feet. Elaina was bold, too. And with a great sense of humor.

Daxx’s cousin Quid had his hands full with the sassy woman who was now his wife, and he looked to be loving every single moment of it. They had a child, a half-Earth and half-Phallyxian child they’d named Hope, and she was a tiny little treasure. Ollie had recently seen her and gotten very excited about the prospect of siblings, males or females, daring to hope for both. He’d been extremely receptive to Elaina, as well, unlike how he’d behaved around Daxx’s intended, Treya, at a recent family occasion.

Elaina was warm. Treya was cold. And Treya looked at Elaina as if she was something foul, made derogatory comments designed to make Elaina feel inferior, yet Elaina let it roll off her, seeming almost amused by it.

And then there was Tanya. Flame-haired, small, less than a foot taller than Ollie, who was already four and a half feet tall at four years old. Petite waistline but a generous, even voluptuous figure. Shy, little, curvy Tanya. She was graceful and spoke in a gentle voice. A gentle, husky voice that spoke directly to Zane’s cock.

The second he’d heard it; he’d felt stirring the likes he had not felt in years. Even before the women died.

From the moment he heard her voice, he found himself watching, just hoping she’d speak some more. She was quiet. Shy. Didn’t say much. But when she did speak, each time she did – his body reacted.

He’d initially planned to approach Tanya, ask to spend some time together, get to know her, and suggest she spend time with himself and Ollie to see if there was compatibility. When he checked to see how many others were interested in her, he saw that the display on Daxx’s project tablet was different than his. The project tablet was a device designed to provide information to all participants, both before and after they had paired up.

And what he saw after logging in with Daxx’s credentials that morning (at Daxx’s insistence due to knowledge about which specific woman Zane wanted) coupled with finding out how the event would go – it created urgency and concern.

There was no outline as to how a man should go about courting one of these women. There were no hard and fast rules, only the vague reference to moderators who would be on hand to assist with any conflicts as well as the reference that no weapons of any sort were to be used in the event.

It made no damn sense to Zane. These men qualified to be there through brute strength alone, would be under the influence of powerful pheromones that would make even the smartest man think with his cock instead of his brain, and those men and aphrodisiac-dosed Earth women would be dumped together and that would be that.

It infuriated Zane. Daxx agreed with him that it didn’t sound like there was any sort of plan and that was the whole thing… an experiment to help the leaders glean data.

Zane visited Daxx at his home occasionally, Ollie loved it there at the sea, and Daxx was by often, too, but Zane missed having his friend in his life continuously and hoped they’d see even more of one another after they both got married. He would’ve liked the notion that perhaps their wives would be friends, but he didn’t hold out hope. Daxx’s fiancée, Treya, was not only unfriendly, she was an elitist who had made plenty of negative comments about the coming females. And bottom line: Treya just didn’t suit Daxx at all.

“You regret agreeing to compete for her?” Zane asked while the two had first been watching footage together and Zane had caught a look of more than mild interest on his friend’s face.

Daxx hadn’t answered with words, but his signature jade Blackstar eyes told the tale as Daxx dodged the subject. He was absolutely feeling remorse. The two friends talked, looking over the live streams of the Earth women together, and Daxx had laughed hard at the antics of one of the females who was doing her best to cause problems for the Earth men in charge of them. Daxx had even muttered he was glad he hadn’t yet consummated his relationship with Treya, but wouldn’t comment on what he intended to do about his engagement. Zane watched Daxx track the movements of the feisty dark-haired morsel on screen despite that there were thirty plus women in the same vicinity. He knew the urge well, being that he tracked the one and only flame-haired woman in the group.
