Roan laughed. “Because I’m our computer expert, silly. Nobody is safe behind closed doors or online with me. You know this, Indigo.” Roan crossed the room. “Give me a hug! I deserve one for having to listen to Clay whine about you sleeping with a complete stranger. The rest of us had a behind the scenes pot running on whether or not you really knew it was Clay.”

“Are you fucking kidding me,” Clay muttered. “Who all suspected Indi knew who I was?”

“All of us,” Roan answered with a laugh.

“Assholes.”

Hollister’s head was turning in every direction, his eyes wide with wonder. “What is this place? Buckingham Palace? The Castle at Disneyland? No! It looks more like the beast’s case from Beauty and the Beast…only bigger. Much bigger.”

They’d already driven past the two sets of heavy iron gates, manned by security guards that looked to be stationed about twenty feet apart. Hollister had asked and Clay had confirmed that the fifteen-foot rock walls that surrounded the entire property also had guards. He should feel safe, not excited. Hollister didn’t have any idea what or whom was on the inside of the castle walls, but he was literally dying to find out.

“And this is where me and my brothers will be staying?” Hollister asked. He, Levi, Roan, and Hollister’s two brothers were in one Range Rover. There were two more Rovers in front of them and three following them. Just in the short period of time between when Levi turned in his resignation and they had all disappeared, there had been one FBI inquiry after another. At this time Hawk and his new boyfriend, holed up in a secure building, were fielding all the calls for his company—which meant demanding to know Hollister and Levi’s whereabouts. From what everybody said, dealing with Hawk would be like dealing with a stone wall.

In the Rover ahead of them, Indi asked Clay, “Are we sure this is going to be okay with Ambrose? From what I’ve heard, the dude is totally weird and only likes Hawk. Hollister and his brothers don’t need to deal with a smart ass BDSM sadist while trying to recover from their already shitty lives. Surely there’s someone else that can keep them safe?”

“We trust Hawk, right?” Clay asked calmly. He wasn’t excited about living with Ambrose McKenzie either, but it was just the safest way to deal with their clusterfuck. Oh, and he hadn’t told Indi they’d be staying with the infamous Ambrose yet. He thought the odds of Indi not kicking his ass were better if he disclosed that information in front of a crowd—safety in numbers, was his motto.

Indi smiled. “Of course, we do; especially after he gave you the most magnificent dressing-down for using me sexually. God, I loved it. If I could have mustered up a tear, I could have really played the victim.”

“Ha-ha; you’re hilarious. My point was that if Hawk trusts Ambrose, then we trust Ambrose. Anyway, if you could see this monstrous castle in front of us and the fucking security surrounding the grounds, you’d have a better respect for why Hollister and Levi ended up here.” Clay bit his lip until he tasted blood. “Fuck, Indi; I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that about you not being able to see everything.”

“Why? I can’t,” Indi answered. “You’ll have to explain everything in detail tonight when we’re in bed. Don’t leave anything out. Hey, are we staying at your place or mine?”

Clay literally gulped. “Uh…well…we all discussed it and thought it was best if you and I stayed here with Ambrose, as well. It would make Hollister and Levi feel more at ease, and I’m not sure you’re as safe as you might think. Marsh knows you were in the building. He might get desperate enough to go after you to get to us.” Clay rattled on and on, his nerves making him talk when he should have probably shut up.

Indi elbowed him. “Shut up, you pussy. I already knew. I was just waiting how long it would take you to get up the courage to tell me.” Indi leaned in and kissed Clay’s lips softly. “You’re a bigger wimp than I thought.”

Clay answered with his own kiss. “And you’re tougher than I thought.”

“True dat.”

The Rover caravan rolled to a stop, and everybody began to disembark. Hollister and his brothers were still mesmerized by the opulence surrounding them. That is until the most gorgeous man in the fucking world came charging out of the front door—an impressive metal door with swirls and twirls decorating it. The man did not look happy, not one bit.

He marched right up to Clay and smacked him full across the face. “That’s for pretending to be somebody you weren’t when having sex. That’s disgraceful! I know Hawk trained you better than that.”
