Trembling, I rake both hands through my messy hair. “I’m ready.”

Nothing registers but the feeling of his lips against mine as he pulls me close for a heated kiss. His hands are on me, cradling my neck and my back. I can smell his cologne. The groan that escapes from deep inside of him spurs me on.

My hands jump to his shoulders. “Dominick.”

“You’re so fucking beautiful,” he says with his lips pressed to the skin of my neck. “I haven’t stopped thinking about you since we kissed.”

He spins me quickly, pushing my back against the door.

I take control of the kiss, using my fingers in his hair to guide him. I tilt his head, parting his lips with my tongue.

His hand drops to my waist before it slides to my thigh. “No other men, Arietta. I don’t want you to fuck anyone else.”

“You can’t either.” I moan as his fingers glide closer to my core. “Please say you won’t touch another woman.”

“No one,” he bites out as his teeth run along the shell of my ear. “Compares to you. Compares to this.”

His fingertips dive under the lace of my panties. I shudder when I feel the first touch of his skin against my core.

“So smooth.” He groans. “So wet.”

I close my eyes against the rush of desire. “For you.”

The sensation when his fingers glide over my clit almost drops me to my knees. He tightens his grip on me, parting my legs with his knee. “I can’t wait. I can’t wait to make you come.”

His lips take mine for a deep kiss as he circles my clit softly at first and then harder. Each draw of his finger over the tender nub lures me closer and closer to the edge.

“Look at me.”

I open my eyes, scared that the vulnerability I feel inside will shine through for him to see. He doesn’t know what he’s doing to me.

Sliding one finger into me, he growls. “I’m so fucking hard.”

I’m so fucking close.

I’ve never felt this before. I’ve never had an orgasm with a man.

My back bows as I clench down on his finger. A sound escapes me that’s rough and filled with raw desire.

A sharp “oh,” falls from my lips when he slides another finger over my clit.

“You’re close.” His voice is deep and laced with pure need.

The pleasure grips me from the inside out. Lighting up every nerve ending, every broken piece of me that’s wondered and waited and wished for this, for a man who isn’t in a rush to take what he needs from me.

With a gasp, I orgasm. I shudder through it, closing my eyes to savor this moment.

His stuttered breath is the only thing I hear as he thrums a finger against my clit, slowing his movements with each passing second.

Exhaustion hits me suddenly and completely. I reach out to blindly grasp onto him, fisting the lapels of his suit jacket in my hands.

“That was incredible,” he whispers so close to my ear I can feel his breath skirt over my skin. “You’re incredible.”

I inch open one eye to see his gorgeous face. His lips are red and swollen from our kisses. His skin is flushed.

I want to thank him, but I don’t. I stare into his eyes, hoping he knows the gift he just gave me.

“Get me a fucking pen, Arietta.” He smiles as he slides his fingers over his bottom lip. “I had one taste, and all I want is more.”

Chapter 42

Dominick

I scrawl my signature on the line marked ‘Dominick Calvetti.’

Arietta grabs the pen from me and does the same over the line marked with her name. Since this is the second copy we’ve signed, it’s official.

My dick belongs to her.

My heart does too.

Maybe that is the high of watching her orgasm talking, but I feel something I’ve never felt for a woman before.

She puts one copy back in the file folder and slides it across the dining table toward me. “Thank you for signing this.”

I know it’s important to her. If another woman had demanded a contract before I took her to bed, I would have walked away.

I can’t do that with Arietta.

For the first time in my life, I feel like I’m exactly where I need to be.

She tugs on the bottom of her tank top. “My roommate will be home soon.”

The urge to ask her to come home with me is there, but I resist. I may not have gotten off tonight, but she did. That’s all that matters to me.

“Are you kicking me out?”

Her gaze flits across my face. She’s trying to read me. “Do you need to go?”

“That’s not an answer to my question.” I toy with her, keeping my face stoic.

“I’m not kicking you out.” Her bare foot taps against the hardwood floor. “I am going to put on a pair of jeans before Sinclair gets home.”
